Hair rollers

Hair rollers, as opposed to curling irons, allow you to roll up your hair and take care of other things while they set. A set of rollers also typically comes in a variety of sizes so you can change up the sizes of curls without having to plug in different curling irons.

Foam and Velcro rollers are gentler on fine hair than snap-on rollers, which can break thinner hair. Hot rollers and steam rollers aren't as harsh on hair as curling irons, and they provide a long-lasting curl.

When you don't want to wake up earlier than you need to in order to curl your hair, foam rollers are a good option. They're soft enough that you can sleep on them without discomfort, so you can get up and go after removing the curlers.
