I have been trying to get this keypad to work for

I have tried everything to get this keypad to work, but nothing works, and the only thing that I end up doing m is to have a redo the car remote's, but the keypad will never sink up to the myQ garage door opener. It's really very frustrating to keep doing it over and over again m but nothing ever worked.

Chamberlain wireless keypad.
I wasn't sure that this unit would work on my Chamberlain unit, because it is an older model. It worked fine. I had to reprogram my car unit, but this was easy. If I had to, I would buy one again.

Works as advertised
Product is great replacement for Chamberlain openers. I replaced a broken remote opener. I am unsure about universal use. You might need to watch a you tube video to get set we did. Instructions could be better. I spray painted mine white to match the house. These only come in one color It is what I paid for. Shipping was slow

The instructions were not specific and we had a difficult time programming the keypad. After we viewed the tutorial on You Tube we discovered that the color of the antenna wire is what determines how the key pad is programmed. This is not mentioned in the instructions. Also not referred too was the tiny black arrow on the entry button must be pushed or the door will not open.

a good replacement for original keypad opened 377L
This model is the authentic replacement for wireless keyless garage opener, model 377LM, Chamberlain life master. It can support two garage doors opened if same key code is programmed for two doors. It also support temporary guest code setup as original but it is not printed on the keypad cover as original. this is a little left to be desired.

I would have been fine if I had a newer garage doo
I had to return it. It wouldn't work with the garage door opener I had in my newly purchased house. Sadly there wasn't anyway for me to know that until I read the instructions. Still returns are easy so not a big deal.

Great! But read this…
Worked! Caution my Chamberlain garage is only 3-4 years old. The 6-7 step instructions that come with it (to connect) are way more complicated than they have to be. I tried over and over to no avail. I went on YouTube and followed the guys instruction: pressed the yellow ‘learn' button on my main unit, pressed a 4 digit code and enter. The lights flash, hit enter again. DONE!

Mine Still Works...However
PLEASE change the 9volt battery " clip " to a " holder ". I have removed many a 9v clip in my days , but there NOT enough play in the wire length to properly unclip the battery without causing strain on the wire - even an inch extra............. Mine , finally snapped off from the clip to the wire !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good replacement and easy to install
Very similar to the original that came with my garage door opener. Not white but gray:beige in color- again like the one I had that died. If you are replacing the holes may not exactly line up for the bottom screw and you may have to adjust the top screw to better fit the keyhole at the top. Easy tweeK for me- with little do it yourself experience. I programmed by myself before attaching to the wall. Easiest way is to climb a ladder and do it right by the main unit. It did take me 2 times to get it to click like the directions said. Also it is sensitive so as I was installing i must have hit the button a few times and It triggered the door. Just be aware. Works like a charm now! Saved myself $40 by installing myself. If I can do it- anyone can!

Great addition to my Garage Door Opener
I got this to supplement the button controller that came with my Chamberlain belt drive Opener. This was a great addition because it allows you to easily open your garage door without having to carry a controller with you. It is also great to allow other family members access to the garage by just giving them the access code. Setup and installation of the keypad was simple and it looks great on the garage exterior! The keypad illuminates once a button is pressed so a low or no light situation does not prevent you from being able to easily open your garage door. One of the features that I really like is that when the garage door is open, you can close the door with the keypad by just pressing the enter key instead of having to retype your access code. If, however, you would rather have to key in your access code to open and close your garage, you have that option as well. This is a great addition to my Chamberlain garage door opener!
