I Really Like this Product!
I have nothing bad to say about this mop. I've owned a Swiffer for years but I got sick of paying for refill mop pads and cleaning solution. I wanted something similar that doesn't require a mop bucket to use and this fits the bill. I love that you can use your own solution and wash and reuse the mop pad. Plus it seems to perform better overall in terms of picking up dirt after it's loosened it. I like that the mop head is much larger than most and that it can be flipped so I can damp mop my entire downstairs without changing or cleaning the pad. The reservoir is easy to remove and fill and the nozzle is more than just a hole, it sprays a fine mist over a larger area. I like little things too, like the shape of the handle lets me change hand positions if I get tired and the trigger is easy to reach and pump. The wrap-around microfiber pad is superior at scrubbing out little problem spots and the way it attaches is a better design than the stick-on hook and loop pads other brands use. Because it wraps around there are no sharp edges to scratch and dent furniture and baseboards.

Not impressed
I was really looking forward to getting this mop and all I can say is that it was a big disappointment. What I thought would be a good product turned out not to be. This mop features the ability to spray chemical cleaner onto the floor directly in front of the mop, supposedly to eliminate your need for a bucket. You have to provide your own cleaning solution which you dilute in the attached bottle. The bottle is easy enough to fill and attach to the mop pole. The best part of the mop is the pad which is thick and textured and is easily removed by a Velcro strip. Further, while using the mop you can flip it over, doubling the amount of pad you have available which is more than a normal mop can do. When you're done using the mop you can wash the pad (however, you mustn't use any fabric softener and can't dry it in the dryer--must lay it flat to dry). This washing limitation was a turn-off to me. I found the mop easy to setup with the cleaning solution bottle on the mop pole. The spray is activated by a lever you pull at the upper mop pole. It sprays an adequate amount of spray onto the floor. But the mop didn't do that good of a job at cleaning, particularly in high traffic areas and against walls (and around the toilet--though I guess most mops aren't good there either). The pad came off easily when it was wet and washed well enough. It was a bit stiff after the washing. I can't wholeheartedly recommend this mop.

    Not for me!
This is the first time I have ever used this type of spray style mop like the OCedar ProMist Max Microfiber Spray Mop. The refillable bottle just pops out with the push of the button and is easy to fill with your cleaning solution and snap right back in to the mop. The mop head rotates 180 degrees so you can mop on both sides of the microfiber cover and it is removable so you can wash it without having to buy costly replacements like some spray mops on the market. They also say that you can wash it 100 times. Not sure about that one at this time. The spray head does a great job spraying out your solution in a very nice spray pattern with a very easy pull of the trigger. But after using it I have to say that it is a very good upper body work out. I’m not sure why anyone would want a dry mop with a spray bottle on it, (it just makes no sense to me). And after mopping my laminate floors, it left streaks all over and with the amount of effort that I had to put in to this type of mopping system, I will be sticking to the OCedar Easy Wring Spin Mop and Bucket System. But if you have a need for this type of mop, don’t let what I say bother you. I’m an old fashion type of guy and it’s just not for me. I hope this helps you in some way. Good luck

WARNING: May be a Clean Freak enabler!
This ProMist Max microfiber spray mop is just right for my needs. I love clean floors, and with white tile through 80% of my house, it is incredibly handy. There is no discernible learning curve for the first use. The generous mist sprayer is so very handy. Previously, it was necessary to carry a spray bottle with me as I cleaned the floors unless I was just dusting. When it is wet or a pollen season, just dusting is not enough. The flat bottom canister removes with the touch of a button and sits upright for filling. Bleach and microfiber don’t mix so it gets a vinegar and water mixture as a disinfectant. The container is compact enough to fit under about any faucet for filling but large enough to allow a good amount of square footage to be mopped. The flipping microfiber mop head is a worthwhile feature as well. Not having to buy special pads or solutions is a space saving, time saving and money saving bonus. It is light weight and fits nicely on my door rack which holds the broom and other necessary cleaning items. It may be possible to eliminate some of the ones previously thought to be indispensable. You may consider giving up your mop and bucket.

    Good for most floor cleaning.
There are advantages and disadvantages to the O-Cedar floor mop compared to others I have used. A big cost savings feature is you don't have to buy prefilled solution bottles; just use 2 teaspoons of any concentrated cleaner and fill the container up with water, and snap the container onto the mop handle. Also, the mop is cloth and can be thrown into the washing machine (lay flat to dry). A convenience feature is the mop portion folds up flat against the body of the mop, so it doesn't take a lot of room in whatever area you store it. One disadvantage is there isn't a scrubby feature to the pad; stuck on messes would have to be cleaned by another method or soaked for a bit to loosen. Also, if I have a big mess to clean up, I'd rather throw away the pad then deal with washing it (refills are available to buy). The mop did a decent job cleaning a tiled kitchen floor, and there was no stickiness afterwards. The spray comes out in a concentrated area, which I like because it gives me more control over what gets wet. This is definitely a good addition to my cleaning tools.

    Love it!
As an older lady, I like that this is an easy mop to use. It has a nice feel to it and a rubbery grip on the shaft for comfort. It has a refillable bottle which is great because I usually just damp mop with plain water, even though the instructions say you can add a little cleaner to the water if you wish. The handle has a hand pump to squirt the liquid up in front of the mop head. The microfiber head collects small debris, hair, dust, etc very well and you can use both sides of the head by flipping it around. The cloth closes onto the mop with Velcro and has a loop on the corner for hang drying and storage. After mopping, the floor is hardly wet unlike a rag mop that takes a long time to dry. I like that I can just refill the bottle, and rewash the cloth for several uses. That's very economical and practical! It hangs in my broom closet when not in use.

    Good for Quick Messes
The easiest way to break down this mop is what I did and did not like: Like: Easy to use Quick No additional components to buy - you can use any cleaner Washable floor pad Lightweight Feels sturdy Good length for easy strides Did not Like: No scrubbers on the floor pad so not good for scrubbing Sprayer needs to be pumped continuously and this can get tiring on a large floor Sprayer is a little too powerful and cleaner gets on baseboards, appliance, etc Handle is too large to hang the mop, so you have no choice but to prop it somewhere Overall, its Okay. It isn't expensive and it's a good alternative to the kinds that need pre purchased we pads. It did an okay job of getting the dirt off the floor but I will continue to use my regular steamer for regular cleaning and keep this for quick messes.

    Great for hard surfaces
Out of the package it is very easy to set up. Mop attachment just clips on. The container for your choice of cleaning fluids is already attached. We have about 300 square feet of ceramic tile in our kitchen and dining area, so something simple to clean that area is a big plus. We have used the Swiffer mops in the past, but the amount of fluid spray is limited. Also, you end up buying new pads for the Swiffer quite often. This mop has a large reusable surface. It covers much more area on every pass and is a bit more robust for those stubborn spots or stains. Once it gets dirty you just throw it in the wash. We have used it numerous times already for light cleanups and also to apply wax to the tile after cleaning. A couple of the big pros for this mop are that you can use whatever cleaning fluid you want. It also swivels very well to get into those hard to reach areas. So far my wife and I really like it. Time will tell how long the mop head lasts, but it seems pretty durable. For hard floors I would say this is a good buy!

    Great for quick clean-up!
With a child in the house, I really can't have enough methods to keep my floors clean. Especially when you have a little boy! That's why I chose the O-Cedar ProMist MAX Spray Mop. Just a side note, this item came fully assembled so you might keep that in mind when it comes to delivery options. I have a small car, so I was glad I was able to have the item delivered to my home. I found this item to be remarkably light-weight. I have an old Swiffer machine that I had been using which is more noticeably heavy. The tank only uses two teaspoons of cleaning solution and is very easy to use and maneuver around the floors. The machine does swivel easily as well. There really wasn't any need to read directions, just begin using. I liked the bright red of the mop, it can even make cleaning fun for children with proper guidance. I always prefer to buy items that have an established name and I feel that O-Cedar is just one such company. Most people know they are well known for their floor products among others. I think you will be happy with your purchase.

    Good Mop for taller folks
I like this mop! It has a wonderful wipe pad that does great against the baseboard. We have no carpet in our home. All hard wood or tile and this Mop does a great job. There is a thick roll in the wipe pad on the edge where it wraps around the mop fixture. That thick roll works for getting against the baseboard and around corners and such. The spray feature is great because it sprays just the right amount of moisture on the floor so that it leaves little or none behind after the wipe. The only reason for the 4 stars over 5 is the length of the handle. It is long. When we first saw it we assumed it was adjustable. It isn't and possibly due to the mechanism that sprays the moisture it can't be, I don't know but it is too long for short people. My wife is 5 foot nothing and she was able to use it but she said it would be easier if the handle were a little shorter or adjustable. She also mentioned the weight together with the long handle might be an issue for the elderly.

    Really the Best
The O cedar Pro Mist Max spray mop is my favorite by far. First off the cleaning head is at 15 1/2 inches wide and approximately 6 inches deep, so it cleans a much larger area in just one pass than the others that I have used. The head flips over so you can use both sides of the pad and the best of all is you use your own household cleaner diluted with water so there is no special solution or pads to purchase later. Read instructions carefully so you do not mess up your floor no wax no bleach and no using straight cleaner without diluting. Machine wash pad really does grab and hold grime and dirt very well and is very absorbent. Fast and easy to use. Great product.

    Not Impressed
I really wanted to like this O-Cedar ProMist Max Spray Mop. I found that the Spray mop to be extremely difficult and frustrating to use. The instructions were not clear or easy to follow. The plastic microfiber pad holder kept coming off the handle. I have arthritis in both hands and had to have help putting the holder back on the handle, not a very good design. The water container was also really awkward to remove from spray mop an fill with water, then replace back on spray mop. The water that comes out of the container when using over sprays the desired area to be cleaned. Unless you have the handle straight up then push the spray button it will spray on that desired area. The first time using it, I used just tap water it left lots of water streaks through out my flooring which is ceramic tile. The second time using it I used distilled water same thing lot's of streaks. I had to get my Shark Steam Cleaner out to remove all the water streaks. What I did like about the spray mop I was able to get under some furniture without having to move them. It also cleaned a large wide area in one sweep. It did clean the floor of leftover debris, I used a Swiffer with a dry cloth before using the spray mop. The handle is to heavy and the bottom plastic holder is to wide to hang in the utility broom closet with all the other long handle cleaning items, so it will be stored in the garage. In the end unfortunately O-Cedar ProMist Max Spray Mop didn't make my life easier.
