I'm very happy with my new futon!
My 14-year-old daughter chose this futon as part of her recent bedroom makeover. We decided to buy this one based on the very pretty charcoal gray color, and the ability for the ends to fold up and make it seem more like a sofa. Having the ends fold up is a neat feature, as it's easier for her to curl up there to do some homework, or to watch a movie. The ends easily go back down when needed to use it as a bed for when a friend stays over. It's decently comfortable for an occasional overnight guest, although it might not be something that you would want to sleep on nightly as it's a little bit firm. Overall I'm extremely pleased that we chose to go with this particular futon! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Perfect for overnight guess
Pretty good for the price. It's very firm but comfortable enough to sit and sleep on for guest. Also I bought an mattress topper for more comfort for my guest to sleep on. Very easy to put together. Hope's it will hold up. Overall I like it

    Futon
I Love this futon! It fits perfectly in our TV Room. It functions in every way that I needed it to. I'm so pleased with it that I may purchase another one. I took my time and read all of the reviews before purchasing this futon. I highly recommend it.

A little stiff but good overall
It looks nice and comfy in the picture but is actually a little stiff and therefore a little lumpy to sleep on but maybe will soften up with use.

Functional and predict will last 2 years -
I bought this for $150 and it is cute, thin cushioned and will probably last 2 years. I wanted a futon for a studio apt with armrests - but those cost over $300 or they are ugly. I liked this futon because it has wings so you can stretch out and watch TV with your head propped up or while using a laptop your arm won't fall asleep. It will work for these reasons. The fabric is thin - microfiber suede-like. Only time will tell how long it will last. The cushions are thin but comfortable for now - The box it comes in -(see pic) is big but will fit in small SUV with the seats down, but no way fit in a car trunk. You could take out of the box and fit into a cars back seat & trunk because it comes in two pieces. Screw holes do not match up - so I just made due with what I could and I think it is sturdy but it did leave a bit of a gap between the center cushion (see pic). Overall - it was cheap, cute and will work for a couple of years. Hope this helps you decide.

Great futon I just love it!!!
So I bought this on a gamble, with the reviews I had no idea if it was gonna be great or horrible. It is totally worth the price I'd say probably worth even more. It is a little different then a regular bed it's not extreamely comfortable at first just like any futon but after you sleep on it a few times and get used to it I don't really think it's all that bad. It was very easy to assemble and it looks very stylish and works great for an every day couch. I'd totally tell all my friends to buy this if they were looking for a stylish couch bed to sleep on.

    Excellent Futon
I bought this futon for my music room. It's a place to sit while I'm strumming the guitars or a place for a guest to stay over if the situation arises. This thing is great! It has a very comfortable mattress compared to other futons in this price range. I have somewhat of a bad back, so I slept on this thing the night that I got it to try it out and no kinks or aches in the morning what-so-ever. And I really like the adjustable arms. When you're on the taller side like me (6'-1") the arms on futons with fixed arms tend to get in the way when you're laying down. So this one, being armless in the lay down position, is really great. It was very easy to put together. I had it together in about 10 minutes working by myself. I really like the charcoal color. I wanted black, but I went with charcoal because it was $30 cheaper vs. the black and the charcoal looks great. Overall, this futon really exceeded my expectations and I would recommend this to anyone who was looking to get a futon.

will buy another red futon.just love it
Very comfortable, colorful and reasonably priced. It is very relaxing to sit on and the coordinates well with the songbird pillows. We recommend this product and will purchase another one in the future.

    Beautiful and Sturdy
I ordered this futon based on the positive reviews on Walmart.com. I was not disappointed. It is a beautiful shade of red and isn't lumpy when you lay on it. The only two "negatives" - and the reason for the 4-star ratings for "overall" and "appearance" are these: 1. The piece was easy to put together, but some of the screw holes did not match up. One bolt we had to wedge in so it's in there crooked. However, the bolts don't show and the futon is still sturdy. 2. When the piece is in the upright position (like a couch), one side is higher than the other by about 1/2 inch. I'm not sure if this is a result of the holes not lining up (see #1) or a fault of the design. Since it's just in a bedroom, it's not a big deal to me. I love the color and the small footprint. It IS a full-size bed when lying flat, though, not a queen-size. So, it's not ideal for two adults; better for one adult and a small child, one adult, or two small children. Great value for the price. It doesn't wobble and it's very contemporary-looking!
