Poor quality - returning all
The large plates scratched my table and were not flat resulting in them wobbling. I am returning two sets. Loved the shape of the mugs though.

    Gibson Studio Bistro
After reading all the reviews for the Better Homes and Gardens Square 16 Piece Porcelain Dinnerware Set I decided to go the Gibson Studio Bistro Dining 16-Piece Hard Square Dinnerware Set. The similarities between the two brands is uncanny. From the reviews that I read online regarding the Better Homes and Gardens set, people complained about each dish not being perfectly even, some small black spots are visible in the dishes and that they are very heavy. I found the same with the Gibson brand as well except this set was $10.00 bucks more. Save yourself some money and buy the Better Homes and Garden set. Two other things I want to mention, I order this set online and it was packaged extremely well, not one dish broken or chipped when it was delivered. The side walls of the bowls in the set are pretty high and hard to eat out of when you get towards the bottom of the bowl. In the BHG set the bowl height seems to be lower. Something to keep in mind.
