True halves Raw as nature intended.
I like candied pecans. If I could eat the top off pecan pies I would be happy but very wasteful. These are true halves. Not mostly halves as with other brands. Raw not roasted. My favorite.

    Expected better of Fisher
Even though the use by date was well into 2023, the pecans seemed dry and stale. The ones at the bottom of the bag even seemed slightly rancid. I found this odd.

Great fresh raw pecan halves at a good price
I love fresh raw pecan halves and these are really good. The price was equivalent to what Warehouse stores charge per lb. but these come in 1 lb bags so they are better to manage than the 2lb bags at other stores. I have about 8 halves with my breakfast protien bar and snack on them sometimes at night. I've toasted these with good results too, but I prefer them raw. The expiration date is 1yr out, but I'll have them devoured way before that.

    deserve a refund
the box was probably thrown - the paper towels were okay, the olive oil in a glass bottle unwrapped survived and the walnuts were okay however the bag of pecans were busted and all over the inside of box

    Great!!
I love Fisher's nut!! They are always fresh and to date (after years of using them) I have never got a piece of shell. They taste fresh and like they are suppose to. The price Walmart offers is the BEST DEAL!! You ROCK!!

    The BEST
0High quality with a great taste. Clean pecans with none of the bitter pieces like some. Always fresh with a slightly sweet flavor. My favorite pecan!

    Healthy treat
The pecans are very fresh not dried out. They replace chips for me for a healthy snack. They are delicious and nutritious.

    EXCELLENT!
Outstanding snack while waiting for your meal! I had to lower my cholesterol so pecans are a good source of calcium, magnesium, and potassium, which helps lower my blood pressure. Most of the fat found in pecans is a healthy type called monounsaturated fat. Eating foods with monounsaturated fat instead of foods high in saturated fats (like potato chips) can help lower levels of bad LDL cholesterol. So, these pecan halves are perfect!

Best Pecans for my Snack Mix
I use pecans, almonds, walnuts, raisins, dried cherries, dried cranberries, cashews, peanuts etc. Filling, healthy snack that curbs my appetite. Fischer brand nuts are always fresh.

    What's going on?
I have always loved Fisher's Pecans. However, the last 4 bags or so that I have purchased, there were only a few nuts that tasted decent. The rest were bitter. I don't know what has happened but I wish they would figure out the problem.

    perfect
Found a way to get my sweet tooth fix in a healthier way. I use these to make cinnamon coated pecans. There are many recipes on the internet and they call for a pound of nuts. I eat a handful a day after dinner and this satisfies my sweet tooth perfectly. Since they are nuts, that's a bonus as well.

    Quality Product
I use these nuts in baking, casseroles, and salads....when I receive them I put them in the freezer and remove what I need as I cook....they are a quality nut, the packaging lends itself to freezer residence, and these just fit my needs.

    A superior nut!
So chunky! I remember when I would purchase nuts and about 30 percent would be crumbles! These are so tasty and no salt or additives! I just close my eyes and pretend I'm having pecan pie! Yum!

Keep Many on Hand in Fridge/freezer
Pecans have minerals and other natural ingredients bound in a natural product - and these are tasty and delicious. Can add to pies, top veggies, eat alone, and make you think - Hey! I know I want some crunchy chips - but maybe some thin cut green beans with toasted pecans on top are a "better choice". And - they are if you are trying to be healthy and lose weight and "cure or improve a neuropathy of unknown origin" - which is most of the non-diabetic ones. Proven that it is not just "an ingredient" that is good for you but how it is taken up and used by the body - so easier for me to lose weight and be healthier and possibly improve my edema and neuropathy (both are getting better) - and like my foods - enjoy eating. Best for me to occasionally toast some - 350 degrees five minutes stir and let cool and taste - and place in fridge - so "quick" "I'm hungry where is the crispy stuff to grab" thing to grab. Eat a few as I cook - throw a few on my thin cut french beans from a can. Theory on natural oils is that they "keep better" when stored in the fridge and nuts have oils in them. Some say unshelled nuts can grown "natural fungus or bacteria" - and mostly after opening a package you should choose to refrigerate or eat it up - or even freeze it.

    Disappointed in Poor Quality
The top half of the bag had nice sized, fully developed pecans. The bottom half were shriveled up, and not usable. The bitter tannins in the kernel and pieces of corky material from the inside of the nut were extensive. This is usually removed by washing and I haven't had this issue before. This was a really bad batch that should not have made it through quality control. Disappointed

I buy these when I cannot find my golden pecans from GA during the christmas season. These are darker and do not have as good a taste as some other brands. These works well if adding to recipes or cheeseballs. But for snacking, I do not care for the taste as well as other brands.

    Very Good Pecan Halves
Very good pecans and a competitive price. Win-win for customers. Only one thing I noticed that didn't sit quite well, and that was the 2 places listed from where the product came. Mexico and the US. While I'm not afraid of nuts that come from Mexico, I would have liked it much more if this product had come from the USA exclusively. That got one star removed from 'meets expectations' review.
