It's Oil, it's cheap
Walmart has the best price on oil for five quart jugs. This is a good price, the Pennzoil Ultra is now this price too and either is fine. We live in an era of cheap oil changes at home rejoice.

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/01/2023Good oil if you can find it on the shelfVavoline is constantly changing the containers and labels. I liked the clear cap with the seal underneath, now the caps have colors that constantly change . I like the oil.Gerard

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/05/2023Tried and trueI have used Valvoline synthetic oil for over 20 years in all of my vehicles and have never had a problem. I live in northern Wisconsin, and the oil performs well in all seasons of the year. Valvoline is a tried and true product that I would choose over any other brand any day of the week. In my opinion, it is the best product available.DIYitagain

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/01/2023Valvoline products always do a great jobI use Valvoline's high mileage products in all my vehicles over 75k miles and their regular oils under that. They seem to do the best in keeping vehicles with noisy valve trains when cold from having much startup clatter. They frequently run product specials too so I can stock up for my next round of oil changes.FreezingInMN

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/07/2021Great ProductI have a 21 yo truck with 160k miles. Been running Mobil 1 for years. Walmart was out of the Mobile 1 so I bought the Valvoline Full Synthetic 5w-30 MaxLife. It's been two months, and from day one my engine seems to run “tighter” and has fewer cold start-up I'm very happy with the way my engine performs with this product. Found it by chance, and I'm going Valvoline from here on out.STEVEN

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/14/2021Tried and TrueGM approved. High mileage(Maxlife) and synthetic. Excellent. I used the Maxlife synthetic blend in my 5.4 Ford and changed regularly. Smooth running 3valve from 50k to 180k. When I began using until I sold. Now for my GM vehicle!Jeffrey

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/02/2016Good stuffOf all the what's considered a group 3 motor oil this is better than Mobil One. The reason your new car (if you have one) comes with Mobil One it's because the company gives money and perks to companies and shops that will use it. It use to be great 20 years ago. Valvoline is a American company and makes outstanding products.MickyB

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/16/2016Best oil out there!I've always used synthetic in my 4.7L Dakota, but was always about a half quart low when I changed the oil (every 3000 mi). It's got about 160K on it, not burning but leaking. When I switched to full synthetic MaxLife, the oil is always full when I go to change it. In my opinion, the extra few dollars for full synthetic MaxLife is worth it.nick
