Great freezer for the price!
Love this freezer! Size and price were perfect. I like having a stand up with shelves versus a chest for ease of finding stuff. Like many others said, however, the packaging is horrible! Thin cardboard that was torn and had holes in several places and equally thin styrofoam that was all broken when I opened. Ours had 1 nice size dent but because its in my basement I preferred to keep it but it cost the item 1 star deduction otherwise 5 stars. Walmart was excellent and gave me a price adjustment very quickly so everyone is happy. Very pleased with my purchase.

Bad Service. Damaged Product
I waited 14 out of 27 days to receive this freezer. They kept telling me it was arriving, but never did. When it finally did come on Dec 27, it was damaged. It was bashed in several places. They ordered another. They came to pick up the old one but could not b/c it was not in the box. They came again to pick it up and deliver a new one. They put the old one on the truck. I made them take the box off and look at the new one and it was more severely damaged than the first one. Because Fed Ex did not have room, he put the new one back on the truck and left the old one. They finally picked up the old one and I am STILL waiting on a freezer. Oh...and of course they charged me card and gave me a whole $15 credit.

    Ok for now its so far so good. I just got it so i havent even plugged it in yet. This is the second one I got. The other one i returned because i got it for $200 cheaper. That one the box came all messed up but i wasnt able to see the actual freezer. They also brought it laying down. This one the box was almost perfect condition. This has a dent in the side door and it looks like it was from something that picked it up during shipping. Ill update if i remember after i have it plugged in. The only thing I wish is that the inside was bigger. I have a 7cubic feet box freezer and it looks like it has more room. I guess ill see once i transfer everything. I dont like that i wont have to be digging or pulling out totes to see whats on the bottom of the freezer.

    Do not purchase
    Do not purchase this item. Both the original freezer I purchased and the replacement that I was sent were terribly damaged. Looked as though they had been dropped from a height, or something fell on them? Was not going to plug in to see if it worked.

    FedEx; We'll toss your package at your doorstep.
    Beware of FedEx shipping that Walmart uses to ship their merch. It was a day late and came damaged. Walmart's solution to this is to return it or replace it. Wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to drive it to a store to do so and wait on another one to be shipped. Probably just to be damaged again by FedEx.

    Multiple dents on freezer
    The freezer was quickly delivered and is just the size we needed, the box appeared in good condition . Like others have stated, there are 3 large dents: 2 on the back corner and one right in the middle of the door handle area. The dent on the upper corner is deep enough that the back panel has slightly separated. Not sure if it's working correctly yet, it was just plugged in.

    Freezer with the Dent.
    The freezer unit is working just fine. It did arrive with a dent in the middle of the back side corner. It is placed in a corner where it will not be seen. Therefore we decided not to return the unit. Disappointed to see the dent in the unit. It is working.

    Frustrated and Disappointed
    After an extended wait for delivery I received the freezer post Hurricane Ida. My family had evacuated for the hurricane and the need the freezer was much needed. Upon receipt packaging was damaged and numerous dents on all side's and bottom of freezer. I am totally frustrated and disappointed.

    Good little freezer, damaged in shipping
    I ordered my 7.0 cu ft Arctic King freezer online. Walmart had the lowest price. Delivery didnt take long. But FedEx gorillas damaged it. However, I had read reviews before buying it and several warned that it would likely be damaged when I received it, so I was not surprised. The cardboard box outer container looked like Pawn Stars Chumlee practiced sword fighting on it: lots of tears and holes. One side of the box looked like the freezer had been sliding around in a truck on its side for about 1,000 miles, even though the instructions said to not tip it over past a 45 degree angle while moving it. Just from the appearance of the cardboard outer container, I fully expected the freezer to be totally trashed. So I was pleasantly surprised to find that only a top back corner was bent (see picture), and I could find no other damage, thanks only to the thick styrofoam packed around it. I installed the freezer, and it fit perfectly where I wanted it. I then waited at least 3 hours before plugging it in and turning it on. I set the thermostat at about 3/4 of the way to Max, and placed a thermometer in the freezer. The next morning the thermometer read -10 degrees F. My only complaint about the freezer itself is that the glass shelves seem to be so narrow that they could fall out of the slots designed to hold them in place. Using some of the tape that was on the shelves to hold them in place during shipping, I taped the front corners of each shelf to the lips of the grooves to hold them in the middle and less likely to fall out of the grooves. The shelves should be 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch (2-3 mm) wider. I called Walmart dot com and complained only about the bent corner. The person answering my call had an odd accent and was very hard to understand. I really didnt want to go through the hassle of returning the freezer. The bent corner is no big deal for an appliance in the laundry room or garage where I will always have it. So when I was offered a 22 percent discount if I kept it, I accepted the offer. (I should have held out for at least 30 percent discount.) For the size and price, it seems to be a good little freezer, if it holds up. I have only had it for about two weeks.

    Waste of Money
    It came with a dent. Doesn't freeze anything. I had no way of returning it to the store because its too heavy so now Im stuck with an upright fridge basically. And I lost a lot of meat thinking it was working until I opened it and it was just cold mush. I wish I had pictures of my food that went bad. Never again.

    Not pleased at all
    I would truly like to say is in picture the Artic King upright freezer looks good. But it comes with a lot of dents and scratches I received mine on 8/7/21 and was very disappointed. It is not right for people to spend full price for something which is damaged all over. I think that is really a bad look. It would be nice if you could be reimburse some of your money for the damage goods you got and you could see that it is not a delivery problem. The box is old so that definitely tells you something. I want to return it. Walmart should really stop dealing with that company. I read the reviews but was hoping I got a good one I plugged it in just to see it did get cold. Did put anything in it as yet .

    SCRATCH exterior/ many ISSUES
    I think the freezer is not working properly. It makes a huge sound like water spills inside. Also, ice in every corner seems like water coming off. Assuming if it is a temperature problem because ice cream is melting in the freezer. Or it may be the delivery problem because the tape that holds the shelf fell and could have been broken. Having lots of issues with temperature, sound, and scratches on the exterior. Paid full price but not fully comfortable with these issues.

    Great product, terrible shipping - damaged door
    To be clear this freezer seems to be functioning 100% perfectly, however when will manufacturers and/or merchants like Walmart start packaging or repackaging items that will be delivered by FedEx or UPS for the apocalypse? Clearly these shipping companies don't care at all how the merchandise is handled or delivered. My freezer was left on my front path by FedEx with no ring of my doorbell or ability to accept the package upon arrival. I immediately was worried by two large holes in the box and when I opened it there is a large dent smack dab in the middle of my door. What now Walmart? Do I just keep ordering these and returning them until one miraculously comes undamaged? I am tempted to do that. Just know when buying this item it is unlikely to make it to you due to VERY POOR PACKAGING and delivery companies that really don't care.

    Upright freezer, good size, good price
    I may have to change this review later, but for now I love the size of it. It fits perfectly and has plenty of space inside of it, I like all the separate shelves to keep things easily visible and organized. The reason this is not receiving a better review is because when I got it it was delivered it had dent and scratch. So far it has gotten cold very quickly ,it runs very quietly. For now ,I'm very happy other than it being scratched and dented. was delivered today, so if it goes from good to bad I'll let you know

    I dont dislike anything. Arrived today only reason giving 4 stars Just a small tiny dent but nothing else Was packed good Perfect size and honesty for a smaller stand up freezer this has plenty of space Cooled fast Keeping food frozen So quiet !!!! I am so happy with this freezer !!! The price made it I could finally afford one So happy with this A friend of mine is now ordering one also as she and her husband love mine and price helps the sale a lot also

    Poor Delivery Service
    I received an email that I would received the merchandise( Upright freezer) I ordered on Dec. 8th. Well, on Dec. 1st; as I was preparing my day take handle business, I came downstairs( finding my daughter already down there)to check the weather and when I opened the door there was a huge box sitting in front of the door of my apartment. I was startled but also glad to get my freezer. Had to change my whole day because of the early delivery. The maintenance dept at my apt complex saw the box in front of my door came over and offered to bring the box inside my apt. Wow, was I grateful and appreciative for their help. I was able to open the box, take the freezer out to find a damaged dent on the left side of the freezer( if your standing in front of the freezer). I did take pictures of the damaged area. I was able to get the freezer in my kitchen, wipe it down and clean it and place everything perspectively according to the directions given. As I was reading the direction, I noticed that there were pieces (screws) missing that was suppose to be with the merchandise. If I wanted to switch sides of the door to open to the other direction I am not able to do so because of the missing pieces. I truly hope I will never have to go through an experience like this again because it would be hard for me to recommend ordering huge items from Walmart.com to anyone wondering if they would have the same or similar experience. Thats not fair to the customer to pay large amounts of money to receive damaged merchandise at delivery. I am an honest person and I practice treating people like I desire to be treated. Although this experience left a bad taste in my mouth, I am currently using the freezer and it seems to be working fine so far. I really like this freezer, it was just what I was looking for and at a reasonable price. Walmart.com, I have been ordering merchandise for several years now and would like to continue doing business with your company, but I would recommend better delivery service ethics for better customer service, because you may not get a more positive or understanding person on an experience like this the next time; there are some pretty mean and nasty people in this world and they can be pretty nasty about an experience like mine. I hope that your delivery service would consider better customer service for the sake of the company. Thank you for the opportunity to express my experience and hope you have a real nice day

    Purchased online on 12/26, delivered on 12/30. The carton did not have any outward damage. When I removed the shipping carton every side of the freezer had multiple dents, and one puncture right through the side. Thee unit was definitely damaged before it was shipped.
