Cost effective
This was a very low price compared to many other cases; I could of used a shorter case for my situation; but could utilize it for 2 firearms. I needed it quickly as I was traveling and sought out the lowest price without much concern about length.

Good for shotgun or no scope gun
I have a 30-06 with an atn scope on it and cannot get it to fit in the case so I tried my 22 magnum bolt action and again will not fit, would be better for shotgun or no scoped rifle

    Not as large as advertised.
The case itself is built well with the exception of the foam being loose inside but no way is it big enough for two rifles. Barely big enough for one width wise and thats without a scope.

    Not wide enough
It says it's for a single scoped gun but i can barely fit my henry 22mag in it. Have to lay the gun at an angle to get it in, causing the butt stock and barrel to touch the case walls.

    A Happy Buyer
Well lined with foam material to protect the firearm inside. Nice design and well built. Three (3) holes for locks on the outside, one on each side and 1 in the middle.

    It's OK
It only cost $30 so that's what its worth. I use it to ship finer shotguns and I have never had an issue with either UPS or Fedex damaging anything. For that purpose, it works great

    Quality Beyond Its Price Point
Quality beyond its price point! Compared to two other brands in this price point, the Plano case is far superior. The plastic case is very rigid and the interior foam is substantially thicker and more dense. My Gamo Varmit .177 air rifle WITH SCOPE ATTACHED fits perfectly inside and I still have room for my pellets, paper targets and manuals. The plastic clasps can come off, but not an issue for me and how I will use and store this case. So glad I purchased this case and not one of the others!

    Sturdy, but kinda small
Bought it for my Optimus.22 air rifle and to put ammunition (pellets). With the scope it fits but for me I need more space. My rifle it's 43 inches.

Great gun case for the money
At first I was unsure that my 49" rifle with scope would fit. The reviews were all over the place. I didn't want an expensive oversize case and took a chance with this one. The rifle, an old Gewer 88 reworked by the Turks, fit perfect with a medium size scope mounted. The smaller the rifle length, the more room there is for a bigger scope. I was also able to get the bayonet with scabbard and a leather ammo belt carrier in with the rifle. There are better cases out there, but this one is the best for the price. Inside dimensions are specified at 53" L x 9.25" W x 3.75" D, but there are 4 stiffening supports that you must work around when setting the rifle in the case.

    I Love This Case!
A few years back I got one for my Remington 870. Then another for an old Marlin lever action. And this one is for my new Winchester 94 Short! They are sturdy and well padded. Walmart, of course had the best price. All my babies are safe and sound!

    Not NEAR enough padding
Even with a thick Automatic 12g in it, it closes without any pressure at all. That's great, except that it allows the shotgun to move in the case. That is NOT what I want. I put my shotgun in it, and after a few test bumps with the case standing up (like i would transport in a truck) the forearm was resting on the inside pillar, a great way to scuff and mar the wood and finish on your gun. It's a shame that a great product is botched because of about 1" worth of FOAM. I would not recommend this for carrying any gun that you are not wanting to take a risk of damaging finish on.

It's not a Pelican, but it's an excellent value
While it's not a Pelican or Bulletproof, it is an excellent case for the money. The value is outstanding. This case is perfect for transporting a rifle or shotgun from home to the range or campsite. I wouldn't ship a Holland and Holland in it, but it is far better than nothing. For the price of most zippered soft cases, this one does it's job and then some. When shopping for a hard case evaluate your needs and budget and buy what fills your requirement. I am going to definitely purchase a few more of these. The value can't be beat.
