Mackerel or Sardines?
I eat a lot of canned mackerel. This last 12 pack I received, although the boxes are labeled "mackerel", I think it is actually skinless and boneless sardines. Luckily, I like sardines OK, only not as much as mackerel, so I'm not too upset.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/11/2020Excellent Product-- Delicious!I had not tried this mackerel before, but it is THE BEST. Number one, it's in olive oil, which is so much better tasting and is so healthful. Second, the label specifies that this is a very good Atlantic Mackerel, which I researched and it is safe/very low in mercury and not over fished, and is, in fact fished in a sustainable way. Third, it's just plain delicious. I am very happy to have found this brand. If you like mackerel I would recommend purchasing this without reservation. I believe you'll love it.TennesseeGirl

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/08/2013Had better mackerel, had worse also.Currently, I am not in a situation where I can readily stock fresh fish, else I doubt I would purchase this item. Given Walmart's price for a 12-pack of this canned fish, I can say it offers a better value than most other canned fish options. This item qualifies toward Walmart's free shipping for certain combined purchases over $45, hence the scale remains tipped even more so in favor of this product's value as compared to other mackerel options online. I utilize the free shipping whenever I need to shop at Walmart as it saves time and saves money on gasoline. Had this product not qualify under the free shipping promotion I would not have purchased it. Under these conditions I would purchase the item again whenever I foresee a need for packaged fish in the future. If I were to make one suggestion to improve this product that would be for the manufacturer to use a pouch storage rather than a can in order to reduce any metallic hint in the taste.TheMEMEexperience
