Solved our problem for a comfy temporary bed!
We needed a queen-sized bed for temporary use and after reading reviews for the Simmons Beautyrest model we bought it. They included a note that it might need additional air put in each night for the first few nights of sleeping on it -- and it did. Still, it didn't deflate during the night, just needed a bit of "firming up" before we went to bed the next night. The pump is super easy to use. It sounds like my hair dryer. You do need to buy some REALLY deep-pocket sheets for this bed! I bought a very deep-pocket mattress pad (about 20") with the wide elastic edging and it fit perfectly. The sheets weren't deep enough so I'll have to get another set. I also bought a king-sized blanket for this queen-sized bed and it fit perfectly because to tuck it in it has to go clear down to the bottom of the 17 inches. A queen-sized mattress is 60 x 80 inches but they you have to add on how high this bed is -- and a king-sized blanket was just right. The queen-sized bedspread was just right, though, because it doesn't tuck in.

Buyer Beware once bought can't be returned!
The previous air mattress I had contained a support structure that also inflated. This gave it a very firm characteristic. The air pump was built into the mattress. So everything was a matter of throwing a switch! Not struggling with an external air pump connector. Which is designed very badly. The mattress rolls from side to side everything you turn so turning has to be engineered. I would have returned it, but read the flap that says "Due to sanitary..." So I'm stuck!

    would not buy again.
item does not hold air over 3-4 hours. The pump is note internal so in the middle of the night, you have to get up, attach the pump, and blow up the mattress. Not a great way to get a might's sleep. I trashed the item after a week.

Buyer beware - low life expectancy
This was the second queen size air mattress I have purchased and the shortest lived by far. The first queen size air bed, a Serta, initially lasted 9 months before developing a slow leak (1 year warranty). Warranty support direct with Serta was fast and painless, and my unit was actually replaced with an upgrade because my original model was out of stock. The replacement model lasted 14 months of use every night without issue until it, too, developed a slow leak. I retired that unit and purchased this one after a bit of research, reading the overall positive reviews and seeing it recommended by Consumer Reports. The Good: Easy to unpack and set up Included, external pump is easy to use, relatively quiet and fast to inflate and deflate During its life, I only needed to put air in about once a month with nightly use The Bad: - Lasted only 5 months, then developed at least two leaks. I managed to locate one by its sound along the stitching, but the other I can neither see nor hear. - 90 day warranty, after which point Walmart and the manufacturer have washed their hands clean of it. Even inside that 90 day window Walmart will only give a replacement, not a refund. The manufacturer's website states warranty claims must be done through the retailer, another major difference between this unit/brand and my previous experience with Serta. All in all, if you're only after an air bed to be used a handful of times and is relatively cheap for the size, this is likely a decent option. If you need something to use every night as a temporary stand-in, I would keep looking at other models and *brands* as this one is unreliable with the short warranty period a sign that neither Simmons nor Walmart will stand by this product as long as other brands.

    Worked wonderfully
My son used in at our house in Fl. Said it was very comfortable. Instructions were a bit vague but he figured it out. It did need to have a re-inflate after the first night (as suggested it might) but nothing after that. Deflated very quickly and stored easily. Recommend

    Size is not as stated
Size is not as stated. Specifications state 80 x 60 inflated queen. It is actually 78 x 56. Those extra inches make a difference when 2 people are sharing a bed. Queen size is more appropriate for 1 person. Very disappointed as I purchased this for a visiting brother and his spouse.

    Bed is Short!
Unless your a child or under 5 feet this bed will not work for you. I purchased for my husband who is 5' 10". His feet and lower legs just hang off! What a waste of money! Beware people!!

    Bad Quality
Just after 90 days, I heard a 'pop' from the bedroom. 1 of the internal seems let go creating a balloon effect. This product was extremely comfortable although I keep it soft. Never over filling it. Great product well it works properly. My best bet is that it was not properly assembled due to the internal seems separating. Have had to purchase another due to back problems. It was not this product. Beware. Purchase at your own risk understanding the eventual problems of this product.

    Great Product!!
I bought two of these for our latest move and they held up nicely for several nights of use. I'm 300 lbs and needed a good mattress that wouldn't give out so easily. This one held me and my husband just fine without deflating overnight. The pumps are great too, so handy!

    Defective
Not durable. It formed a huge bubble in the middle top to bottom right after the 90 return policy expires.

    Never again
Bought this in December 2018. Yesterday the support spine broke. I'm a 5'6" person that weighs 150lbs and doesn't move much when sleeping. Surprised that the middle support busted but more so, I thought I purchased an item of quality from a name brand. Guess in this instance, you get what you paid for.

    Very smart looking and comfortable!
The zippered bag was easy to unpack. Getting it inflated was easy, but tricky. You must be quick to close the opening after releasing the inflater, as the air starts to get out right away. I liked the gray top and blue bottom colors. It is comfortable. I think it will be just right for any guest I may have. My only disappointment was that it was only little over 13 inches high, instead of the 15 inches high I expected.

    Worth Every Penny
After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this mattress for everyday use until I am able to afford to get an actual mattress. So far, I have not been disappointed. Pros: Nice & firm Great support Fairly high off the ground Doesn't need pumped up too often AC wall pump is fast and effiecient Cheaper than a battery operated air mattress in the long run (batteries do not last long and are very expensive) Cons: Requires EXTREMELY DEEP pocket fittted sheets Queen fitted sheets dont fit after stretching (king size is more ideal) Sides curve - hard to fit into corner Cap lock is too strong Tips/Reccomended: - DO NOT through out the repair patch kit, you wil definitely need it. - Air it up each night for roughly 5 days, it stretches. - Do not allow any animal with claws onto it. - Only use as a temporary sleeping arrangement, it all not meant to be used as a permanent replacement for an actual mattress. - If the cap locks on you, have someone sit on the mattress while unscrewing the cap.

Excellent bed. Lasted a year with everyday use!
I brought this air mattress on a limb, but thankfully it lasted a whole YEAR with everyday use! I also have little ones who would jump on it and play on it and it never ever leaked, or popped. It's very comfortable and I absolutely loved it. Filling it with air would take approximately 2 minutes with a full size, and it was very easy to latch on. I added a tempur-pedic mattress topper to it for added comfort and it's like sleeping on a cloud. I definitely recommend this air mattress to everyone. I hope this review helped!

    Comfy air mattress
I used this mattress for a weekend visit and it worked great. It filled up in about 5 minutes and was a comfy sleep. The second day it could have used more air. I am sure it is mostly because the material the mattress is made of is flexible and stretched with use. I slept on it anyway without filling up again and it was still ok to sleep on. Deflating was just as quick as inflation and I folded it up and rolled it. I wasn't able to fold it small enough to fit back into the storage bag so it hangs out the top. Going to use a rolling work bag to store it in so I don't have to carry it. The storage bag is not very useful anyway, it is a very weak fabric and tore almost right away. But who cares about that anyway. I will use the mattress allot in my travels, that is the most important part. I used a deep pocket fitted sheet and it worked great and stayed on and in place.

    GREAT PURCHASE
Recently moved and purchased this to last, and so far it's lasted 2 weeks without inflation. It's definitely a real sized queen bed, able to fit 2 adults (male and female - mid 20's - at 5'11 tall) and fit queen size sheets and comforter. I've jumped on it and tested it out adult-style (hint) You wont even notice your not sleeping on a real bed. Don't consider anything else.

    Very Comfortable
This air mattress is very comfortable. Bought it while we were waiting for military to deliver our furniture and we have had nothing but good nights of sleep. the only complaint is that hooking the pump up takes a little skill to line it up to the valve but love how firm you can make it. Would definitely recommend this for any guest or temporary sleep situations.

    Comfy!
I took it on a camping trip and slept in it for 2 nights. (see picture) I never slept so good! Only thing that I didnt like was that you cant use a portable pump for it with out A LOT of work.
