Great product to give yourself a Boost
The purchasing experience was simple and easy. The folks were great. Since I have a Toy Hauler, there is no ladder for the usual antenna mounting. I added a piece of conduit to the rear ramp latch rods to make an antenna mount. This also provided a method of raising the antenna 42" when stationary. At home with a signal of 75 dB, the booster added 15 dB providing 90 dB to the phone inside the trailer. We travel to a lot of remote locations and as long as there is a signal to boost, quality is greatly improved. However, keep in mind, if there is no signal, boosting zero is still zero. All the equipment supplied is well made and appears very durable.

Doesn't do what it claims
I have installed this product as per the instructions and use a Netgear Nighthawk mobile hotspot router. I have tried repositioning the antenna, resetting etc, it makes no difference to my signal, $money I could spent in other areas.

    X drive good but seems to lie
    It seems to work good just some time it seems like it doesn't help and just tells me I have service but still doesn't load

    Wifi off grid hallelujah!
    Bought it as a gift for my husband (really myself haha). We go camping and always have terrible wifi. Not anymore!!

    I purchased a weBoost for my car/truck and was happy with the results. I then bought the Drive X for my RV. The signal meter app I downloaded for free shows a 100x improvement in signal strength. I haven't dropped a call yet.

    Unbuffered YouTube when others had no 4G signal.
    Worked flawlessly in Slab City, Niland, California where other campers had no 4G signal. This area is notorious for spotty internet. Was able to watch unbuffered YouTube 24/7. My camping neighbor was so impressed he will be ordering a WeBoost kit soon.

    When you need it....You Need It!
    These Drive 4G-X products work for those hard to reach areas, but as they are clear, it does take something to amplify to begin with. In general, the 2x2 MIMO of a NightHawk or JetPack 8800L will work better without amplification in Moderate coverage areas, but in those hard to reach areas, the amplifier means being connected versus not. I do wish there were more diagnostics tools available to help improve the percentage of time the WeBoost Drive 4G-X provides a benefit. A manual on tools and techniques to improve the performance would be great. I have used the SureCall RF power meter to help aim the WeBoost Directional antennas, but those RF power measurements were not as clear as expected on aiming the antenna. Having just the red and green LED to indicate feedback seems a bit limited on help improve the performance in very heard to reach areas.

    I would return this if I could......it just doesn't work.
    I installed the 4G X RV in my motorhome. Got the green light on the unit. With unit off I get 1 bar, with the unit on I get ONE bar and sometimes less. There is no increase in service or signal. I'd return it in a minute if I could.

    Not difficult, but tedious to install
    I have installed this on my PleasureWay Ascent Class B motorhome, essentially a camper conversion of a Mercedes Sprinter van. To avoid drilling holes in either the roof or a sidewall, I installed the antenna using the Mercedes roof track and then ran the cable along the roof track to the back door. I had to create an antenna mount for the outside antenna, using a WeBoost mirror mount and spring and a piece of aluminum that I cut and drilled to accommodate the antenna, so that I could use the Mercedes track.Closing the door hardly dents the cable, because of the generous weather stripping around the door and frame. The white cable is hardly noticeable on the white RV. The cable is then strung inside the window valance (so that it won't show) to a cabinet in which the TV antenna booster is located. I mounted the WeBoost on the inside top of that cabinet, which allows me to maintain the same amount of useful room for the items I normally store inside the cabinet. I hard-wired the WeBoost to the 12v power that powers the TV antenna booster, adding a switch that conveniently allows me to turn both boosters off and on. Incidentally, there were no instructions for hard-wiring the power supply. Although the steel roof of the van separates any signals from the outside antenna and inside antenna, and there are no windows in between, the WeBoost flashes to indicate a slight feedback before going to steady green. Although the bars on my iPhone don't indicate much improvement, switching the iPhone to test mode shows a distinct improvement. Since installing the WeBoost, I have not yet traveled to one of my favorite camping spots, which has such poor cellphone reception that I can only text--no data or voice reception. I'm anxious to see if the WeBoost improves that. One additional thing: I had several email communications with WeBoost and found their customer service to be outstanding--very prompt and accurate responses from each person with whom I was in contact.

    As remote as possible with service!
    Not much for comments, however this cell booster, I have the Drive 4GX-RV does just that. Installed in August and now it's September 27th,2018 with 3500 miles clicked off from Fairbanks, AK to Greeley,Colorado. Sure there's a lot of obvious no service stretches but having much more connectivity than any of the past 3 years without the Weboost. Proving itself most of the time but threre are those times that really make me go wow. For instance a city park outside the middle of somewhere in Saskatchewan. Camphost greets us and we yap a bit, yea you don't get any cell service here, oh well. Settled into our campsite, dinner relax what have you and amazingly enough, service! Not great by any means but texts and mail slowly came through. There it is. Was I skeptical? Yes, but not anymore.
