Amazing!
Super easy to clean the brushes of hair or string, easy convenient tray to dump. I love this vacuum! With 3 cats and 2 toddlers, a teenage boy and a husband, I can now spend more quality time with them instead of vacuuming the house 5 times a day

Very convenient but could use improvements
Cleans hardwood and tile floors great but you may have trouble if you have an area rug. Our roomba has trouble getting onto the area rug in our family room so we still need to vacuum there regularly. And the odd chance it does get on the rug, it gets stuck and only does a small fraction of the rug. It does take a long time to clean and part of the issue is the random paths it takes. Will sometimes stay on one side of the room for multiple passes and then will only do one pass on the other side of the room. It just goes diagonally in various directions. I thought it would operate in more of a straight line as much as possible and be a little more efficient. For the price, expected more.

    Can be hard on carpets and some hardwood. Especially pine floors and carpets with tassels or fringes. Occasionally gets caught in tight spots or grab power cords. Usually have to go around and prep the area before starting it. Does pick up stuff so routine use can catch those missed areas on the next go around.

    The description says this iRobot is quiet, let me just say it isn't. Loud enough for me to have to raise my voice when talking or higher tv volume a bit. It's not extremely loud, but for sure not quiet. Despite this, this is a really awesome machine! Does what it's supposed to and picks up so much cat hair I couldn't see (I have a white cat and white tile). I had been having issues with allergies (which I assume is from the cat hair I had been missing), but after using this machine my air purifier I finally feel some relief! Super happy with this purchase and would do it all over again. This machine worked out better than I imagined so I'm also debating getting the 380T iRobot mop in the future.

    So far so good!
    Been using for about 2 months. Haven't had any issues. This version doesn't have the mapping option but that is fine with me. Does the job. 20 mins main floor then I pick it up and move it to the second floor for 20 mins. Then I bring it back to the main floor and "send it home". Does the job. Need to watch the filter though and ensure it's cleaned almost each time. Empty garbage after each use.

    This purchase was to replace a well-used and loved earlier model of Roomba. We are huge fans, but they do have their limitations and aren't the right choice for everyone. We have a rambler/ranch home with a full basement. After the kids moved away no one is down there and the family room and bar are pretty wide open so the Roomba is perfect for keeping the basement clean and visitor ready. It's "set-it and forget-it" vacuuming, my kinda housework.

    My new best friend
    Roomba is a human and fur baby households best friend. I can set it to clean my home while go out on a walk, run errands, play with my children. I absolutely love that it has freed up my time while it does the vacuuming for me. Its also quieter than a regular upright vacuum. I wish I would have purchased it sooner. It makes my life so much better.

    Wonderful to have! Not as smart as I thought...
    It's addicting to watch, I can waste hours just watching it - I try to figure out why it sometimes goes over the same section over and over and yet seems to drive right past places it's missed. It doesn't seem as smart as I was thinking, maybe because I have a lower model. It doesn't seem to find its base (I keep the base in a back room) it will get lost and run out of power. Then I actually have to get off the couch and take it back! HAHA! However, it eventually cleans everything so very well, I'm very happy with it and can't wait for the company to continue making improvements to the new models! Thx!!

    YES! I would buy this product again! This is my second one
    This is my second Roomba. I purchased one abut 20 years ago and it lasted for I know at least 7-8 years. When it quit working I just didn't buy another one until now. Boy have they changed. Although my first one was really good this one is even better by far! I love it and wouldn't take anything for it! I run it everyday. It makes your carpets look so fluffy and clean. If you haven't purchased one you need to. Its a bit loud on the hardwood but when it gets on the carpet you can't even hear it.

    Roomba has become my best friend.
    owning two long haired black cats, the hair was never ending. As I am older, it was difficult for me to keep up with the hair. Sweeping was killing my back.. now every morning, the roomba runs around doing my sweeping for me. I love this machine,,,, I am sorry I did not get one years ago.. now if only they can make them less expensive...
