Meets Toyota Specs
Our 2014 Toyota Rav4 has 165,000 miles on it. The recommended coolant change interval is 5 years or 150,000 miles. I did the 5-year change 3 years ago in 2019, and recently topped it up. I used Zerex Asian red antifreeze both times, and have not had any problems with it. The Zerex product meets Toyota specs. That's important for 2 reasons: 1) so it won't harm the alloys in the engine and cooling system, and 2) so it will be compatible with existing coolant in the system. The coolant change procedure is a drain and fill, not a complete flush. So some of the old coolant remains in the system, and mixes with the new. It's designed that way. They must be compatible, and they are. Same goes for topping it up when it gets a little low. I am confident that the Zerex product is suitable for Toyotas based on my personal experience, on the specs, and on Zerex 5-year/150,000-mile guarantee. And it's quick and easy to pick up a gallon while shopping at Walmart.

Good alternative to OEM
This is a good alternative to the factory OEM if your in a pinch for coolant. I highly recommend using OEM first if you can get it, but if you can't this is good for backup. The product works, but also keep in mind to never mix different brands together. And stick with OEM coolant and change it out regularly.

    Keeps the Temps down.
Keeps the temps under control for my car. I have Toyota and use it on daily basis. I pour this liquid into my car to test how will things turn out. So far smooth, hopefully, it will work in the wintertime as well due to freezing temps in IL.

Zerex Asian Vehicle Red anti-freeze coolant
I received this product to evaluate for free, but all comments and opinions are my own. This came in just in time, both of my Toyota 4runner and Lexus GS350 need coolant topping off. The color looks just like the OEM fluid. It work so far, no abnormality is detected. This product is less costly and easier to obtain than the OEM fluid. Recommended!

Zerex Asian Vehicle Red Silicate Antifreeze
Zerex Asian Vehicle Coolant was a perfect match for my Lexus. It is ready to go no mixing needed. Zerex makes (5) varieties of coolant so you can find one that would work for your vehicle. For my vehicle Zerex Asian was the right choice and it works great.

    Recommended for most Asian vehicles
I own a Honda, Scion, and an older Toyota truck and I like to keep enough consumables (like antifreeze, oil, and transmission fluid) in the garage in case any of them needs topping off. This Zerex pre mixed coolant works in all of my vehicles so I only need one gallon instead of 3 separate jugs (1 for each vehicle). The chemical makeup of antifreeze for my 2 newer vehicles must use the more sophisticated P-HOAT technology and be silicate and borate free to conform to OEM specs and this Zerex delivers all of that plus it's backwards compatible for my older Toyota. I don't like paying for 2 quarts of water when I purchase a gallon of antifreeze but I suppose the convenience is worth something. Most Asian OEM's only offer pre diluted coolant as well but at a much, much higher price so the Zerex will still save you quite a bit of money and give you the same protection.

    Changing as I age
First off let me state that you should never mix normal mineral filled water with antifreeze and the recommended water to mix is distilled because minerals in your water just like how they make you have to scrub your shower, toilets will yes WILL eat away at seals, bearings etc. and this means NEVER EVER allow service stations to add water from their hose to your car, verify they are using antifreeze. In the past I have always just bought full strength and mixed it myself using my soft water that then goes through a water conditioner and then through reverse osmosis ( My area had terrible water) but what a hassle to be honestly and since cars nowadays are so much tighter and better built you really aren't having to do a lot so then comes reasonable price, convenience of a premixed solution. Protect your car and have peace of mind and just buy the 50/50 mix and do it yourself and a gallon should last you years per car. Please verify what I say about not using normal tap water and save yourself money.

    Time for Replacing My Antifreeze
We have a 2010 Corolla and are really having no issues with it, but with it getting over 10 years old, I decided it was time to flush out the old coolant and add new. The car has a little over 115K, so it is time for some basic maintenance beyond the oil and filter changes. I went with the Zerex red for use specifically in Toyota's and other manufacturers. I am very happy with Zerex from past experience, so when I saw the red, I decided to go with it. It was a simple process and now I have a clean coolant system with new antifreeze to protect against heat, cold, rust and corrosion. Just make sure you have a large catch pan and dispose of the old antifreeze properly.

    Great for my Toyota Tacoma
This review is for the Zerex Asian Vehicle Red Silicate and Borate Free Antifreeze / Coolant. It comes pre mixed (50/50) with deionized water. I have a 2010 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, and it is the 1st Toyota I've ever owned. I was always a Chevrolet man, and I assumed that the Toyotas also took Dexcool antifreeze, since it looked to be a similar color. I'm lucky I searched it before I purchased the wrong one. Toyotas require a red, silicate free Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT) with a phosphate additive. This formula replaces the original oem antifreeze that comes from the factory. It provides protection from rust, corrosion, boil overs and freezing. It states that it protects from freezing in the winter down to minus 34 degrees Fahrenheit, and boiling over in the summer to 265 degrees Fahrenheit. It is backed by a 5 year/150,000 mile guarantee. My Tacoma is a 2010 model and this is the first time I am changing out the antifreeze, so it is probably overdue. I feel confident using the same grade coolant that was in the vehicle when it was manufactured. It's ready to use out of the bottle without worrying about mixing the correct ratio. 5 stars from me.

One of the best antifreese for Asian Cars
This is ready to use antifreeze already pre-diluted with deionized water. The antifreeze was created by ZEREX Valvoline especially for Asian Vehicles models like following: Toyota/Lexus; Honda/Acura; Mitsubishi; Subaru; Daewoo; KIA; Nissan/Infinity; Suzuki; Daihatsu; Scion; Mazda; Hyundai; Isuzu. ZEREX 50x50 antifreeze coolant is a silicate and borate free long lasting formula that guaranteed performance for 5 years or 150 000 miles. It does not freeze up to -34F and boil to +265F. Provides rust and corrosion protection for all cooling system metals including aluminum. This is my choice to have a spare antifreeze in my garage for my Honda Ridgeline 2022.
