Attractive, practical and durable
What made me grab this dish set was the depth of the bowls. Now, I find myself using the plates for nearly everything but the microwave. We have been in need of substantial dishes for our family of many, young and old. The bowls have been perfect for cereal & soup & the whole set is handy for snacks, meals & get togethers. This Confetti Dinnerware from Zak Designs has been able to survive falls & unexpected tosses around the kitchen as well as my terrible dishwasher. Though, it should be noted that they're NOT microwavable! Most plastic ware I've had in the past would stain easily when we ate foods with red sauces or cheese. Especially if they had some sort of knick, scratch or cut. Not these! This 12 piece set seems invincible against my silverware. I even cut up a few peices of steak the other night with a steak knife & didn't realize I was doing it until it was too late. Luckily, the plate seemed untouched. I then got curious and wanted to test it out further so I cut waffles up on a different dinner plate and again, scratch free! Easy to clean & lightweight, this dish set would be perfect for any household, especially those with kids. The colorful confetti will match any color scheme. Useful for swapping out dinnerware for holidays & get togethers, this set is also the perfect alternative to glass or ceramic for the kiddos.

bad experience
gave 2 stars for quality. no stars for looks. dishes very blah and plain looking, especially as compared to pieces of the same pattern that i already own. very disappointed. nothing was removed from the box except for the bowl in the picture, box was resealed and returned to walmart but they cannot take the return in the store and i'm currently jumping thru hoops including multiple emails, required photos and a ‘walmart portal', whatever that is. tedious and time consuming, not to mention infuriating. not going to do this again.

    OMGosh!! Love love love my beautiful pink melamine plates and bowls set. Love the Zak! Confetti. We'd gotten 2 plates at a store close out and loved them so much! Microwave safe and dishwasher safe. Love my set!

    Really Beautiful Set
    I love these dishes. The color is beautiful. You look at them and they seem like they are ceramic. You can quickly tell when you pick them up that the lightweight dish is not ceramic, but a durable plastic. The bowls are nice and deep. They make for perfection when it comes to nightly giant bowls of cereal. The only issue is one of the salad plates has a piece of confetti that sticks out ever so slightly. We still use it because it is smooth but it would be better if that had not been the case.

    in love with this tableware, it's so cute, the confetti design is really beautiful, the quality is very good, I love that it has two sizes of plates and the cups are the perfect complement, when I serve food I feel like I'm really at a dinner party festive because its design is unique, I have to admit that this tableware exceeded my expectations, light but resistant

    The Zak designs confetti melamine 12 piece dinnerware set is adorable. This set includes four dinner plates, four salad plates, and four bowls. This is the perfect set for any meal. I really like that they are eco friendly and BPA free.They are very durable as well which means they can be used inside or outside. They are dishwasher safe as well. Just remember do not microwave. I would highly recommend!

    I am in love with my new product. I love it very much. the beautiful colors. it is super easy to wash. super comfortable to load. they weigh nothing. and the most that I love is that they are made of a fairly durable material. I highly recommend it.

    Disappointed.
    After tons of shopping I decided to get the white confetti set. I was so excited to get these. They arrived and the bowls were great, salad plates all good. Got to the dinner plates and they looked like sloppy seconds. Parts of the plates had no top coating, at first we thought it was tape on the plates but it was not and it did not set right on others looked like wrinkles. Emailed Zak designs with pictures and the reply I finally got said they wanted all the plates in one picture. Figured it would be difficult getting replacements with that reply. You could clearly see defects but the plates needed to be slanted to show in the pictures. I returned the set. They all had different varying shades of flecks ( that did not bother me as much, but someone looking to buy might have an issue with it). Ended up buying a different brand for even less money and they were perfect. Fleck colors all matched and all the coating was done correctly.
