Young kids will have fun
It's a nice item for young kids, not toddlers because the stars are small. The grandsons will have fun with this when they're decorating their new room this weekend.

    Its a flashlight....
    Basically its a small flashlight and 10 little 1 inch stars that you can stick on the wall or ceiling. You shine the flashlight on them for a minute or so and when you turn off the lights they glow in the dark. Great for kids. Something to look at while they are falling asleep.

    These are cute stars that glow in the dark for about an hour. They are easy to put up on walls or mirrors. The uv light does charge them quickly. My only issue is the light gets very warm after only a few minutes of being on, so watch this with the younger kids.

    Flash didn't work
    We were really excited to get this product for our kids. However, the flashlight did not work (even with change of battery) so we haven't been able to enjoy the stars in the dark.

    Decent gadget to keep kids occupied
    I received the YZ Black Light as part of the Spark review program. It came in a small box with a handful of stars, some double-sided stickies and a the black light flash light. We've had glow in the dark stars before so I wasn't completely wowed. Pros: I found that you don't necessarily have to expose the stars to light to get them to glow. I've bought others where you needed to expose the stars to light for a certain amount of time to get ‘recharged'. The flashlight works pretty cool kids will have a blast shining it on other potential glow in the dark items. Cons: The battery cap! It took me about 15min to screw that cap back on! The screw is super tiny!! There has to be a better design for it. I wish the stars were larger, they all seem to be the same size. All in all, it's a good ‘toy' to keep kids occupied.

    Simple toy, but cool!
    This is a simple, but pretty neat toy. My boys had a lot of fun charging all of the glow-in-the-dark items in their room, but even just shining it on each other's clothing, teeth, stuffed animals, and even wall decor revealed really cool and unexpected colors. This isn't something I see my sons playing with often, but it has been fun for them to pull out every once in a while to explore with. Of course the added stars are a bonus to arrange on the wall right away. I would consider this a worthwhile gift, especially if you included it with some more glow-in-the-dark toys or decor.

    Awesome little Backlight kit
    Really kind of a cool toy to play with at night, Comes with 10 glow in the dark stars and UV LED flashlight. Requires 3 AAA batteries that are not included. To keep the battery cap on it has a really tiny Philips head screw that was a little difficult to reinstall so be sure to have really small screwdriver handy to install the batteries with. Also included in 10 adhesive stickers to stick the glow in the dark stars to the wall or ceiling. Id recommend buying more stars and the flashlight really lights them up well in a dark room.

    Blacklight Flashlight
    It has been nice using this blacklight flashlight. It is a compact size (pocket size). The first thing we needed to do once unpackaged was to add the three AAA batteries it needs to run, which are not included. We were surprised that the battery compartment was secured by a screw. The screw is very tiny. It came out relatively easy, but we were unable to get it to screw back into the compartment. We do not have young children, so we are fine with leaving it out. This flashlight comes with 10 glow in the dark stars, which come separated (star and adhesive dot). The stars are cute for a bedroom ceiling. It would be nice though if the adhesive dots had been a bit bigger. But honestly, for us the flashlight itself is the best part. It works by pushing the button at the end opposite of the light. Very easy to operate. The flashlight is fun. But it is also very useful as a tool. Shine this flashlight onto your walls and you'll be surprised at spaces you'll soon be cleaning better. It shows so much hidden dirt. This is a great little blacklight flashlight that we are so happy to have and we highly recommend it.
