ideal storage, much superior to CD
I find this item is perfect for backing up huge quantity of material- and much easier handling in the process.

JUNK!
This USB is a piece of Junk for me.It won't work on my 64 bit computer.This was not spelled out when I purchased it.

    Inexpensive and smart
    These swivel thumb drives are excellent. I have a couple for holding picture files to transport back and forth to my mother (who does not have internet). They work out great for her because I can leave them with her, she can print the photos she wants then return the drive to me whenever. These are cheap enough that if I lost one I would not feel too bad about it.

    Great Drive
    As with any Thumb Drive how well it works for you depends on how you intend to use it. This drive is large enough for just about any everyday use and backup needs. However that said you must remember it is not Waterproof, But you can easily remove the Swivel if you want to, It will not hurt the Drive at all. I got it free with a Printer so DOUBLE WIN...

    it holds so much and just becoming a freshman with online schooling it holds a lot I have more than enough room on the Wintec FileMate 8 GB SWIVEL USB Flash Drive. will work well with schooling business or anything else ou might want to use it for. :)

    Don't buy, save your money or buy another brand
    I started to put files on this and it is write protected and you can't move or delete the files once you have added them to the drive. And regedit does not help. I'm stuck with a product I can't return and will not use because it has some of my personal info stuck on it. I guess I will have to destroy it. What a complete waste of money...disappointed.

    It's a flash drive
    It does everything a flash drive does and more! No wait... it doesn't do more, but it definitely does what a flash drive is supposed to do. It's 8GB and that's twice as much as the 4GB I have already (What can I say? I done real good in math). I would use it like a flash drive, so when you want to move files from one place to another easily, that's where you'd say "I could use a flash drive" except if you buy this, you'll already have one. The swivel thing that protects the front is OK. It's not as good as a cap (since it doesn't actually snap over the end of your flash drive) but it's built into the thing so you won't lose it. Just don't go using this to stir your drinks. I'm happy to say I have this product and I will be using it in the future in every case where my 4GB flash drive doesn't have enough room.

    Adequate Flash Drive
    The flash drive is adequate as a flash drive, neither slow nor fast. Won't know until extended use as to the reliability. It was a great deal for me as it was bundled with a printer that I was buying anyway and the flash drive was free while the printer price was lower than the regular price. If I had to pay the regular price for the flash drive it actually would be too expensive for what it is because flash drives of this caliber and capacity can be purchased for less nearly everywhere electronics are sold online.
