Must fit the hardware of your old computer. EX: I have an old dell t3400 and i tried to install Windows 7 Ultamute. Had to run Dban to remove it because the hardware on the Dell didn't match the qualifications of the t3400. Solution I installed Windoes 7 Pro 32-bit and everything is now running fine.

    BUYER BEWARE. SUPPORT IS SLOW IN COMING IF EVER.
    Inserting the flash drive into a USB port did not allow me to immediately boot from there. Contacting customer service as requested turned out to be via e-mail and a week later no one has responded to me. I rather suspect that eventually the desired outcome will be achieved, but purchasers need to know that it will require considerable time. And there is no instruction sheet; any instructions are in a file that is on the flash drive — a file that can't be accessed until the boot is successful. Despite what the product description says about not requiring a product key except for re-installation, it's the first thing asked for. If your need is urgent, I suggest you buy and install a new copy of Windows 7 instead of attempting to repair your existing software.

    Good - but may not work with SSD
