As eazy as Cake
The price went up at the store to almost $9.00 for one med size cake. Never baked one before. So I thought I'd give it a go. This pan was so easy to use and made a large cake for under $3.00... One more cake and I made my money back on the buy. Will use for years to come..

Maybe it's me....
I wanted so much to love this pan. Wilton is a great company and produces great products. I even got a box of cake mix with my pan. I followed the directions and baked the cake accordingly. It was a hot mess. It stuck to the pan and the pan leaked. It did not run all over my oven but id did drip a bit. The pan was easy to clean once I soaked it for about thirty minutes in hot soapy water. Not sure if I could have done something differently to have better results.

    like this a lot
I have never owned an Angel Food Cake Pan before, and this one is really cool! It is large enough to hold the cake mix version of an Angel Food Cake. I have not made an Angel Food Cake from scratch with it, but I assume that it would hold that amount of batter also. Angel Food cakes are usually a specific size, so I would figure them to be interchangeable. I really like that the Angel Food pan has a non-stick coating on it. When I made the cake I was surprised by how much stuff was left behind in the pan when I got the cake out of it. My first thought was this is gonna be hard to clean. But No, I was wrong. It cleaned up really well. The problem I had cleaning it, was the area where the spout is connected to the ring. I ended up using a toothpick to get into the area to get the cake out of it. I did not have a glass bottle to turn it over on to cool. So I ended up using cans of veggies that were the same size as each other. I put them around on the outside edge of the side pan. Just enough under it to hold that pan. And one in the middle to hold the spout pan. It worked for me. When the Angel Food cake was fully cooled, it pulled away from the sides of the pan very easily. And having the pan be a two piece made it so much easier to get the cake out.

    Great Pan Overall
The Wilton Non-Stick Angel Food Cake Pan works really well at baking an angel food cake quickly and precisely. The pan came with a box mix included. The only issue was that the mix called for a slightly larger pan than the pan I received. The cake mix says use in a pan 10 inches or larger and the pan is 9.5 inches. So basically I used 3/4 of the batter to be on the safe side. I certainly didn't want it to overflow into the oven. I baked it for 45 minutes. It ended up coming out absolutely perfect. Dark crusty brown top, nice spongy texture, and very tasty. It came out of the pan super easily too. I didn't need to loosen anything up, it just slid right out and onto the plate when I flipped it. The non-stick surface is truly wonderful. The pan is not super heavy duty, but it is durable enough. I like that it has two pieces for easy baking and easy cleaning. There was barely any cake residue left in the pan to clean. I am very happy with it overall.

    Well made pan
It works. Well made pan that would last a long time. Without the bottom getting bent, as the older style aluminum pans where likely to do. Now for the minuses. Since my cake rose about the top edge. The pan could not be just rest on a cooling rack as one of the pictures that came with it illustrated. Nor did I have any bottles that it could rest on, using the small center hole. Improvised with 3 measuring cups. As far as it being non-stick. It is marginally better than the old aluminum pans. I would recommend it to someone just starting out. It would be a good investment that would last a lifetime. As long as they understood the need to find something for it to rest on.

    Angel food cake baking pan
I've never owned a baking pan like this before, it is so nifty! It is two pieces that fit together that make getting the cake out so much easier. I made my first angel food cake with this and if I had remembered to cool it upside down it would have come out perfect. I was afraid of the cake sticking and having to fight it to get it out but it slid right out! Now I find myself looking up new recipies just to use this pan for more baking lol

    Bakes A Great Cake!!
I like the traditional plain Angel Food cake and that is what I made using this 2 piece Wilton Angel Food Cake Pan. I love that this cake pan is non-stick, because it makes for an easier release of the cake when removing it from the pan! This tube pan measures 9.5 x 4 inches. Although some cake mix boxes say to use only a 10 x 4 inch tube pan and nothing smaller or it will overflow. I did NOT have this problem with the Wilton 9.5 x 4 inch Angel Food Cake pan. The cake WILL rise all the way to the top of the pan, so I wouldn't use anything smaller then this. The Wilton pan baked the cake evenly and it came out a golden brown color. The pan is very easy to work with and is easy to clean. This Wilton pan is thick and made really well. My traditional cake came out perfect. You can frost the cake if you desire, or add whipped topping and your favorite fruit. I love this 2 piece Wilton Angel Food Cake Pan and I highly recommend it!! You can't go wrong with a well made product!!

    Perfect
This pan is a perfect size and weight. I love that it is two pieces and non stick. I used this for the first time and when my cake wad done it had already separated from the sides. I let it cool and ran a silicone spatula around to avoid scratching. This was a first time use for me but the pan performed excellent. I would definitely recommend this for purchase the non stick is exactly what you need.

    Solid pan
This pan is very heavy and solid. The angel food cake comes out with very little effort and clean up is easy with the mom stick coating. I just used my hands to gently pull it away from the edges, popped the center out and it said right off the center part easily. The angel food cake was nicely browned all around too

    Love it
I love angel food cake, but it always stuck to the pans I was using. I got this pan and said I'd give it one more shot. My cake turned out fabulous. The pan makes it easy to remove the cake because it comes apart. It's made very well and I will be making many more cakes.

Nice heavy duty well made Angel Food Cake Pan
I was real impressed how ell this Angel Food Cake Pan preformed. Pouring the pre-mix in, it did not leak at all in the 2 piece pan. 35-40min. in oven the cake rose to the top, browned just right. Once cool couple hits on the bottom center pan and the cake popped out. Now the cleanup is no fun, but the non stick did make it very easy to come off and I used NO oil, butter or spray on the pan at all. While I won't use it a lot, it's nice to know that you can easily make an angel food cake from a box mix that you just add water and beat for 1 min and bake.
