Shin guards
I got these for my granddaughter and they worked great. She didn't complain about them being to tight or loose. I strongly recommend them.

Just okay.
These were super inexpensive, so I bought them for my six year old's first soccer season. She Hates them. She said they are itchy and won't wear them under her sock. They only have one strap in the center so tip and swing in her leg without the sock. They are very basic and if a few more dollars means playing or not playing: I'd get them, if not spend a little more for something with the ankle sleeve.

    Great Shinguard
    I ordered this shinguard in a Youth size and it was way too big for my 9 year old even big for me so I went to the store and exchanged it for a pee wee size and it fit much better.

    Small for an adult, perfect for my son
    I read the other reviews, which said that these were smaller than would be expected given that they were labeled as being for adults. My nine-year-old is five feet tall, so a small adult size sounded about right. They fit and he wears them, which is all I wanted. He did note that you have to be very careful about how you fasten the Velcro, or they will irritate the leg. It would have been better if the Velcro had been installed the other way around, so that the prickly part faced away from the leg, but if you get it lined up right it's fine.

    shinguards were fine.
    I ordered and paid for them and my daughter in law picked them up at the store the same day. This worked out great. It would have been nice though if you would of had some girl colors to choose from for my granddaughter.
