Bad, bad, bad!
Waste of money. I thought Whistler was a decent brand, but I was wrong. This unit worked for less than 40 seconds @ 250 watt load, and then became totally dead.
It has two non-user serviceable fuses inside - soldered into the circuit board. Both blew. Bridged the fuses and then the switch and led worked, but it still produced no output whatsoever. The junk is in the trash.

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/29/2016Good Value for running small things.Don't plan on running a small travel size 4 cup coffee pot with it, a mere 365 watt rating. I've a high capacity 800 CCA battery, stout enough to run a 12k recovery winch and the inverters alarm sounded within minutes causing me to start the vehicle just to use it. After that, the coffee brewed just fine. The inverter has no footing, nor mounting option. I found the unit wanting to slide every which a way. I guess a person could use 3M double sided tape to mount it, not supplied. Other than that its a fine unit for small things such as phones, notebook computers, portable DVD player and the like. I ended up returning the inverter because it just didn't handle the wattage load it was supposed to take. I exchanged for the 800 watt inverter that has mounting options and it's handled everything I've put to it so far.StarGateOne

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/19/2016small inverterHave used this inverter for one week. It has powered my iphone, computer, led desk lamp and portable battery pack without any issues. The weather has been cool and I don't even think the fan has kicked on, yet. So, that means the items I am charging don't take much power. I have not loaded this inverter down so far. The inverter is hooked up to two deep cycle batteries and is currently on the front porch. This is a very compact inverter. The wires sent with the unit seem to be of good quality. The cigarette lighter connection does have a fuse. The USB ports seem to be of good quality. The plug ins seem to be of good quality. The switch seems to be of good quality. No issues with this unit at this time.Bigmozilla
