Awesome bar, Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Simple hammer and common sense and boom you have an amazing barbell. I even bought two just to have an extra one. Cant beat the price at all

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/06/2021Decent for the priceFit and finish aren't fantastic but the bar does work. I picked this up as a Landmine bar and for technique work. I selected it over the slightly more expensive CAP single piece bar because it's 25lb and I was intentionally looking for a light weight bar. In the 25lb/86” long category you usually need to find a much more expensive Olympic style technique bar which would not be as good for landmine work. I've loaded up one side in a landmine with 90lb and it did not so much as flex. I expect the 310lb rating is correct but you're going to wear some part of it out eventually. The knurling is passive so as you get closer to that limit you will want a better bar with an improved grip. If you have a specific need for a cheap bar you won't cry when it is dinged up or something very light then this works well. As for the downsides, the pins are in a weird spot if you need to use the full length of the bar for your workouts. You should put some grip tape over them just to avoid cuts. The passive knurling will limit your lifts as you climb towards the bar's limit. The plastic end caps are terrible quality. I had to shave mine down to get my weights into the sleeves. All in all wouldn't be as big of a deal when you consider the low price but Walmart sells a better quality CAP single piece general use bar for a few more dollars. You get what you pay for and even with the issues with this design I'm happy with my purchase.Maxwell

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/09/2021Great price great barOverall very impressed with this bar. Used to have one like it in our high school weight room. Assembled very easy and the pins were easy to hammer in. I wasn't expecting the spring collars but they were an added benefit. going to do first home workout today.CoolKid

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/29/2020Impressed - Good product for the price! With a weight capacity of only 310 lb, this is a great product if you're not a powerlifter or body builder. It's excellent for light lifting and moderate exercise. It can particularly be of use for the elderly and those who are new to lifting. It's 7 feet long, just like the traditional olympic barbells you see at the commercial gyms. After the assembly is over and done with, the only main difference is the material and size. The bar has held together just fine, despite being put together by pins. The grip is decent. I don't have any drastic complaints. I guess the only thing is that it can be a little difficult to put plates on the bar, due to the plastic endings. After 4 months, overall the bar is holding up fine.Nina
