Damaged goods
Being disappointed when I open the box seeing lid being damaged . What I did not see is the handle on the lid is not usable . I did see that part I have to spend more money. I should not have too. Very disappointed so sad .

    Simply awesome grill.
    Grill will pay for itself with the saving of charcoal alone. Best temperature control I've found. Added a hook to the food grate to hang on the edge of the grill while adding charcoal and lighting charcoal.

    Quality and beauty all in one
    (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this grill after researching who had the best grill. Weber always came out on top. I bought it souly for low and slow. The first thing I tackled was a brisket! Go big I say! I have to say it turned out perfect! There was a slight learning curve to temp regulation but once I got it. Set it and forget it.

    No need for bells and whistles
    Truly impressed with the quality of craftsmanship of this grill and the outstanding industry leading warranty. Super simple design yet extremely effective in grilling some great meals. I have yet to burn a meal yet and it is full of flavor and juices.

    Grill came out of the box missing enamel in spots & started to rust on both the lid and bowl. Not what I expected from Weber. I was happy with response as it was replaced

    We used our new kettle a week ago to replave our 25 year old one. Just like the old kettle. We love Weber grills in this family. Smoke, grill and char. Thank you for a solid and simple product.

    Almost Great - Enhance the Base Model
    This is a good grill. The base model needs to be enhanced with the Weber 7478 Charcoal Grill Tool Hook Handle. In my opinion that would have made my experience better out of the box. Also the hook for the grill cover lid is way too small. Even with remembering which side the hook is on (by using the Weber logo and grill cover handle placement) it's not very easy to hook without a bracket hinder. If it was maybe two inches longer it would be easier to use. Personally, I would like the legs to be just a bit taller. I'm 6'1” so I would have appreciate a little more height. With a little enhancements this grill will be awesome.
