Love this paint brush
The Waverly paint brush is an excellent addition for craft paint projects. It has a nice smooth handle so its comfortable to hold. The natural bristles provide a wonderful surface to spread the paint. The brush is easy to clean and reshape after use. The brush has a wide painting range too.

It sheds onto my project
I like the coverage that this brush provides. Combined with the chalk paint it really does cover with very little paint. My brush came with a tiny bottle of blue plaid chalk paint. I had this wooden basket that I though I would test it out on. I really love the color. This brush works well with the wood since the wood obviously has grain to it. I can't really recommend this brush though because I'm not going to sit here and pick out all the pieces that fall out of the brush and have colored finger tips. Why make a brush that sheds? The paint dries very quickly. When I used this brush I did a little bit of dabbing but mostly brushing back and forth. It is very thick and it can hold a lot of paint if you are doing a larger project. Maybe after rinsing it out it might stop shedding but I'm not sure if this brush can be reused. Because it is so thick I worry that I won't be able to get all of the paint out to be able to paint something else. Overall I think this is an ok brush. If you don't mind some shedding here and there you will probably like it - but if you are working on a more delicate project this is not the brush for you.

    Good brushes!
    For the price, these are great brushes for chalk paint and wax. If it's a delicate project, I would recommend higher quality brushes. I'm not even a novice with chalk paint, but these do shed a little here and there which can be aggravating. But I would still recommend for the price point!

    Brush Lost Bristles Like Crazy
    I've recently started flipping furniture. I don't know much about chalk paint or chalk paint brushes but I have used a lot of different painting items recently. The first stroke of paint on the wood, bristles started coming out. It was a pain to pick out all the bristles that came off in the paint. I know it's normal to lose bristles sometimes when using natural bristle brushes but this brush was shedding way to much. I really liked the chalky matte finish the chalk paint had.

    This is a nice little set. I like that it included a wax brush. This is great for small craft projects. I used it to paint my votives and it worked well.

    Paintbrush works well and it was cool it came with paint. Me and my daughter love doing crafts and this worked great . We used the pretty blue paint and painted a wooden chair we found for my daughter.

    Waverly Inspirations chalk & wax brushes and chalk paints are designed to work together. The brushes feature a brightly painted wooden handle that is comfortable in use. The thick ferrules help hold the dense, tapered natural bristles. The brushes spread the products effortlessly. Some shedding may occur with the natural bristles, washing & leaving to dry before use is recommended. The packaging is very informative; clearly stating how to use each product, how to condition, clean up, paint, wax, preparation required (if any, depending on surface). The chalk paint has great coverage with a matte finish. Dries rather quickly, even on glass. Some brushstrokes are visible, but that's to be expected and gives project some dimension and character. I recently painted my bathroom vanities with Waverly Chalk paint and they turned out great and have held up thus far. I did utilize a sealer due to the location, usage, & humidity levels. The coverage is absolutely amazing with this product, brushstrokes are less noticeable with the wood grain. Highly recommend for arts, crafts, decor, and various other projects that you have in mind.

    Smooth coverage
    I am not what you would describe as an artistic person. I had no idea that some brushes just painted smoother that others. This brush is great for chalk or acrylic paint on just about any paintable surface. I had never used a rounded brush and I absolutely love this one. It covers so much better than your standard flat brush and can be used to add style to your wooden furniture needing a facelift.

    Standard brushes
    This pair of paint brushes are decent quality product that are good for any painting project at your house (mainly for home improvement). I would not recommend using this for anything else. Some examples of the uses are painting your wall, your ceiling, or your fence (Quite effective on a smooth surface). They both do what they are expected to do, nothing more, nothing less, so don't go expecting that you got something spectacular. From all of the times that I used them, they seem to last as long as a normal paint brush (which is a decent amount of time). The handle are comfortable to grap and the paint brushes are light in term of weight, so that's nice to have. Another bright spot is that the paint can be washed off easily if not left for too long. Packaging is standard, nothing special. There is no instruction needed for these brush, just open the packaging and use. Overall, I would give these paint brushes a 4/5 as they don't really do anything special to diversify themselves from normal paint brush. For the price, I would expect a bit more in term of uniqueness and quality.
