Vibrant and lightweight
I was just looking for a set of bowls but I preferred a full set so I got these. Usually I would pick a color like green or blue but the orange just called to me. The retro print with the color sort of reminds me of a very New Mexico vibe. I like it. I wasn't sure how the dishes would look when they came. I'm not sure about the quality with them being made out of melamine. But opening the box, I found them well wrapped and spaced (not starting off with scratches and scuffs). They have a consistent color and a nice gloss to them. It's a beautifully matching set. It's also got a bit of weight to it, just enough to not come off as cheap. I don't think I would serve food that was too hot or could stain it (spaghetti). And I would definitely hand wash them with a soft sponge as I don't see them standing up to any heat in a dishwasher. I'm happy with how they turned out though. The dinner plates have slightly curved edges to contain a nice portion. The bowls are a good size too, very deep. The bowls are definitely suitable for an adult portion of cereal. The other plates are nice too, I don't really use them often. But the edges are again nice to keep crumbs on, and together it makes a beautifully set table. It's also light enough to carry them all for a picnic. So overall I like these for myself and they would also make a nice housewarming or graduation present.

    Every day use
    The Retro Renegade Blue coloring on this set of dinnerware brings back fun past memories of times gone by. These are an everyday set, and you can use them in so many ways. Note that these are NOT microwave safe but that is fine as I cook every day. The smaller plates are perfect for someone watching how much they eat. The larger ones can double as platters. The bowls are great for cereal, salads and so much more. I love that they are lightweight and very easy to handwash and dry. We use them every day.

    Cute and durable!
    I adore my new set of melamine plates and bowls by Wanda June in retro blue. This is such a charming dinnerware set!! The set comes with 2 sizes of plates and a set of bowls. The sets of plates are a nice size, the large plates easily hold lots of food, and the smaller plates are great for snacks, smaller meals and deserts. The bowls are nice and deep and stack well. They don't take up a lot of cabinet space. All together, this entire set takes up very little cabinet space. They are tough too. My son has already dropped one and stepped on it accidentally, and it shows no signs of damage at all! I love that they are strong enough to take rough use and still so lightweight! The design is so cute!! I love the vintage look and beautiful teal/blue color!! It reminds me so much of something I may have found in my grandmothers kitchen, but it's fun and modern enough to fit well in any kitchen design! This set is top rack dishwasher safe. Over all, I am very happy with this dinnerware set. It is cute, durable, functional and fun! I would happily recommend this set to anyone looking for a fun addition to their kitchen!!

    Super cute and fun!
    Got these dishes to use for eating outside this summer. They are a perfect bright orange and are well made. I just wish they came with cups! They are thick and wash well...so far the color and pattern are holding strong. No worries about breaking and having to clean up a mess with these!

    How adorable are these dishes?? The orange is so vibrant and fun, but still sophisticated. They look delicate, but so far, they seem good and sturdy for the rigors of my family. They aren't microwave-safe, but that's not surprising, and I wouldn't expect any similar material to go into the microwave. They are top-rack dishwasher safe, but they wipe down so quickly and easily, that I haven't bothered to load them into the dishwasher. They have really brightened up my kitchen. I use at least one piece daily. The bowls are the perfect size for cereal or ice cream! Just a great set all around.

    Great set
    This is a replacement set for my old melamine dish set which didn't include the smaller dish. Comparing it to my old ones, these are much thicker and feel very durable. Melamine is a good alternative to glass being a lot safer to handle. Pattern is quite nice and has a vibe of the 60s. Bowls are plenty big for that double serving of cereal I love in the AM. Both dishes are perfectly sized as well. Dishwasher safe but not microwave safe. They will melt/burn in the microwave and warning is stamped right on the bottom. Price reasonably and will outlast other materials so this may be the last dish set you'll ever buy.

    These are exactly what I expected. They are all Ree Drummond. Cute, nostalgic and well made. They will be perfect outdoors for summer barbecues. Perfect for my midnight bowl of cereal. Or just for a simple lunch inside. So far so good with the microwave. That said I wouldn't nuke it for more than a minute or so. After all it is plastic. Lightweight but sturdy. I can't think of a darn bad thing to say except I wish there were more patterns. LOVE!

    The Wanda June Melamine Dinnerware Set in Blue. The retro print is super cute. This set comes with 4 dinner plates, 4 salad plates and 4 bowls. The love how deep the bowls are. Very sturdy hard plastic. Dishwasher safe on the top rack. These are not microwave safe. Very happy with this set and the sturdy end results.

    Great quality.
    This set it truly reminiscent of my childhood. My grandmother had a very pattern in olive green and white. Anyway, this orange is cheerful and bright. The melamine is so sturdy. My kids have been taking it onto tje porch with snacks and I'm not worried about breakage. We plan on using the small plates on our outdoor picnics too. This is a good quality set.

    This is such a wonderful dinnerware set. It looks so stylish with the retro print and bright blue color. The set comes with four big dinner plates, four salad plates and four bowls. The whole set is dishwasher safe. The pieces are of good quality and very sturdy and durable and are great for using at home with the kids and would be excellent for camping and outside dining. This is a perfect versatile set for entertaining guests. Highly recommend this set!
