could not get any hair to release into the brush, I thought it would be more comfortable to have plastic tip , rather than a wire brush however couldn't get it to work

    Not worth the $$, it did not work for my crew.
    This is the first brush that my Gigi accepted (she is a shedder), however it does not remove loose hair. It does not work my Royal either and he loves to be brushed. Definitely will be returning this brush.

    Great brush!
    Great brush! You can really brush hard with it and not hurt your cat's skin due to the protective tipped bristles. My cat loves it better than any device I've tried.

    Not very useful
    The thing that drew me to this brush was the safety tips. Having stepped on the wire-tipped brushes, I can tell you that they hurt a lot. But other than that, the wire brushes are more effective at removing hair than this brush and they don't hurt most cats. This might be just the brush if your cat has sensitive or damaged skin. I recommend getting a regular wire-tipped brush for just about every type of cat.

    Comfortable slicker brush
    Most slicker brushes have wire bristles. this one has plastic tips on the ends of the bristles so the cat's skin is protected. My cat enjoys being brushed with this one. I don't have to worry about scratching her skin.
