Love it!
This monitor has little to no background noise and is very clear. I just needed a simple monitor because my other monitor(fisher price) gave up after five years and my son will only need one for about six months. I can't get over how much quieter this one is... There is rarely ever any static or white noise.

Great…but disappointing
Great product but it did not come ready to accept batteries and I cannot find anywhere online a part number for the “rechargeable batteries” you can use with it…very dissatisfied

    Baby Monitor, it works at very low volume
    I received the Baby Monitor, it works at very low volume and then it stopped working. I sent it to Brazil. How should I proceed? Do you have any assistance or returns in Brazil?

    I usually have this plugged in most of the time, because I use it to hear my daughter in case she wakes up in the middle of the night. I can hear everything going on in her room. even when I'm sleep, I can hear her loud enough to be awaken if she needs me

    Great buy
    It is perfect for our situation, since my wife had a stroke and needs constant care during her recovery. I can go about my business inside and out. Just clip it on when i go outside and plug it back in when inside, it picks up the slightest sound. Was not sure it would be the quality it is for the price. Very satisfied and would recommend it to friends.

    VTech DM111 S & S DECT 6.0
    We purchased the VTech DM111 Safe & Sound DECT 6.0 (etc.,) for use as a monitor to place in my mother's bedroom, after she has suffered a heart attack, and three weeks later, fell and broke her hip. I specifically searched for a unit that was 'TWO-WAY' communication, so that if she called out from the other room, she would be assured that she was heard. The product description specifically says, you can hear and talk to your baby, and scrolling down the page, TWO WAY, SECURE COMMUNICATION is a specifically listed product feature, of the "VTech DM111 Safe & Sound DECT 6.0 Digital Audio Baby Monitor with Belt Clip". I have captures of the screen and product description, and it is very clearly listed as a feature. So I ordered on, on-line and the product arrived today,.. NO TWO-WAY COMMUNICATION,.. Now,.. the product itself is not a bad unit, for the price. The signal is strong, fairly clear, even from across the house. We tested the unit with someone speaking with the bathroom, with the door closed, and the unit across the room, and were still able to hear what was being said. I am pleased with the functions I have, but am disappointed that I did not receive a unit/ product, with two way communication capabilities. Mom and Dad are okay with this, but this is not listed properly, mislabeled, and misleading. "I" would send it back, but hey, that's the way of things these days, and it is a sad state of affairs. If YOU are looking for a good, strong baby monitor, I would recommend this as a LISTENING MONITOR.

    VERY PLEASED!!!
    I am very happy with this purchase!! Great Product!! They have clear sound! I was surprised to get such a great item for such a low price. After trying them out, we were so satisfied that we ordered another set! I like the option to be able to plug into an outlet, and also be able to use batteries if we need to!!!

    Good sound, hard on batteries
    Bought this sound monitor to listen for my daughter at night- a supplement to our video montior. The sound was great. But the monitor went through two full batteries in a night. A good price initially, but would be costly for batteries. Will be returning- unfortunately.

    Bought to monitor wife in bedroom. She has dementia from her Parkinsons Disease. Works extremely well. excellent reception from approximately 80 feet away. Crystal clear. Can hear every sound in room.

    Works well
    I love that the monitor doesnt pick up other sound waves from our neighbor's monitor. One thing I don't like is that it takes the monitor about a minute to connect to the other half after I turn it on every time. It's not a problem, just an inconvenience.
