Very Effective
These are the only mouse traps that we will use. So easy to set up. I recommend putting a little dab of peanut butter on the cheese plate for a quick response.

was not good. Could only get 3 out of 4 traps to hold a set. 1st time I've been disappointed in a product from here. Was gonna call Victor and complain but their return policy is lengthy.

The one trap I could set worked just right the first it was set. The other 3 I COULD NOT SET and have them stay set.

Be sure to get the ones with the fake swiss cheese trigger. Put a spot of peanut butter on its surface

    Effective
This easy set specific mouse trap is hard to find for some reason. It does work better than the other varieties.

Skip the yellow plastic bait traps.
They function ok but the mice get away after licking off all the peanut butter. Ha ha. The older style trap gets them all the time.

    Mouse trap
It's a mouse trap. It has some difficulty in setting, as all mousetraps do, as they tend to snap shut at the slightest movement; A good quality for catching mice, not so good for human fingers. I do not clean them. Once they catch a mouse I throw the trap and mouse away. They are inexpensive making disposing them easier.

I have never tried these without bait although the listing says no bait is required. I usually use peanut butter. I see a number of 1-star ratings, which is odd because I have found this style trap to be the best and came specifically looking for it. If you put the peanut butter on the middle of the pad the mouse has to climb onto the pad to get to it and will trip the trap. I have found this to be much more effective than other traps where they have eaten the bait without tripping the trap.

    Bad Product
I have used the old stype traps for years, in fact I still have a bunch of them I use. I bought two 4 packs of the new traps today. I had high hopes for them. Sadly they did not work well at all. Set one way you can whack the bait with a screwdriver and they do not go off. IN the other setting, they do not catch and tend to close on yor hand. Stick with the old style traps if you cna get them, or the glue style traps. They are not as re usable but at least they work. These would be going right back if they did not cost less then the cost of gas to take them back.
