Loving it!
As this year in Florida, lately here in December we have been having several chilly nights. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment, and I was shopping for a portable heater. I saw this one and I was hesitant to buy this one because of the price, thinking cheap price, cheap product. But I like what I I read about other reviews posted here and bought this one. Tried it out last night, and wow I was impressed how it performed! Not only that it kept us warm and comfortable, but the price, surprised me as well.

Terrible heater!
I have purchased 2 of these within the past year and although the price was good, they suck!!!! Knob to turn heat on stops working and am very dissatisfied with this and if I could, I would be asking for my money back and using it for another brand that would actually work!!!!!

You get what you pay for.
It was good in the beginning, but it didn't last very long. It began showing signs of breaking down when it would stop heating up the room at random, turning on and off. Eventually, it stopped turning on. I opened up the heater and found that a piece was burnt/melted (maybe from the heat) and had broken off on the inside of it. We have been very gentle with it and never had it exposed to high temperatures. I think I'm just going to replace it with a better, more durable heater. I couldn't find what the part was called to fix it myself. We have had this heater for no more than 3 months.

    Garbage
The size and cost were appealing. The selection was low it's currently negative 2 in my area. Bought the unit, took it home and plugged it in. Heated up fast but after a few min my breaker tripped to the whole house. I unplugged it switched the breaker back on and plugged it into a different outlet in the house and set it on low. A couple minutes go by and It tripped a different breaker. I isolate the heater to an outlet by its self and it tripped another breaker. I will be returning this before I experience a bigger problem from the faulty unit.

    Great little space heater
Great little space heater. Looks well-built and somewhat tough. Suspect it will last longer than a season, perhaps years; I hope. I now know why they call it a milkhouse heater, as the fan is a little on the noisy side; so some may not deem it suitable for bedroom, office or living room. The fan moves the same speed and produces the same amount of noise whether the selector is on high or low. I looked for but didn't notice any markings on the packaging or heater designating different wattage settings. On the details of Walmart's website it says 1300/1500 watts; so I assume the lower setting on the selector is for the lower wattage. I prefer to use the lower setting so there is less of a risk of an electrical overload and electrical fire. I'm using this in an apartment, the heater is powerful enough to heat my small well insulated apartment during below freezing temperatures. I put it in the hallway to reduce the effects of the fan noise in the bedroom and living room. The only reasons I didn't give it five stars is the fan is somewhat noisy and the packaging and paperwork doesn't seem to reveal differential wattage settings.

Both Heaters came with banged and dented up metal, upon taking it out of the package. Soon as plugged one of the heaters up it went/overheated and went out, also blowed a fuse.setting was on low as well.. Pretty good size for the price and doesnt take long to warm up a room either though.

    Well-made product, very happy!
I had purchased this same space heater from another vendor previously, obviously identical and from the same Chinese factory, just a different color, so already knew it was a quality-made product. What I like best about it is that the 'low' setting is actually a 'medium' setting, meaning it's quite powerful and adequate by itself. I find, with lots of space heaters, that the high setting is more likely to pop a circuit breaker (esp if you have lots of draw on that circuit from other items), so it's desirable to use the lower setting as often as possible. But if the low setting is inadequate, no joy. This space heater is very adequate on that setting. I've found the unit to be very sturdy and the switches are quality, not flimsy at all.

    Meh...
You get what you pay for. I purchased two of them and one didn't even make it through the winter season. The other you gotta hit a few times before it gets the picture.
