Great reproduction
I've bought several of these and I wish that they made more! Joints have stayed solid and true to the original design they used actual rubber for wheels and diecast for the cab. The quality is probably not what the original Japan 1984 versions are, but seem to be better than the 2002 reproduction.

Definitely not classic, look's cheap
I honestly was embarrassed when I had to give this as a gift to my Grandson. I ordered it late; so, I didn't have time to return it to get something else. The material was plastic, and looked it! I spent $54, and it looked like a $10 gift.

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/25/2022Never againWhat a rip off. The toy is 4 inches, made by some bootleger for $70 tax. I can't get to the store fast enough to return this piece of ____.(fill in the blank)Neveragain

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/08/2022Why no trailer?Cool little piece of nostalgia. I have an original that I got as a birthday gift back in 1986 or so and it's in very “battle worn” condition, so it's nice to have a brand new shiny Optimus to display as an adult. I could gripe about the price, which is why I only gave it 4 stars, but if I was that concerned about the price, I wouldn't have bought it. Also, I would have easily dropped $80 to $90 if it were complete with the trailer.Joel

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/28/2022Awesome Optimus Prime (but only the cab)!!Package came quickly and was wrapped well. Toy itself is wonderful: feels like when you got Optimus back in the 80s with the die cast metal and good joint articulation. The only downside is the price: $50 would be a lot for both cab and trailer but you are only getting the cab! Otherwise, this Optimus Prime is a good piece for any collection! "Autobots, transform and roll out!!"Greg

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/22/2022Nice, but...Pros- Cool figure and nice accessories with the 2 weapon variants from the G1 Era. Cons- Overpriced as others have stated. Sticker decals aren't the greatest quality and recommend getting reprolabels from Toyhax.Dude

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/26/2022Product fine box not so muchItem looks fine! No complaints, the collectible side the box came dented in and not sure how they will exchange? Wish they would take more care in shipping collectibles.Ken

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/08/2022Great but not for high priceThis is an awesome nostalgia figure. I had him when I was a kid but back then he came with the trailer, always. I purchased this version without the trailer for $40 thru Walmart last month in Dec 2021. It was sold out for a while and now it's back at $72 but still without the trailer. Not worth the price.George

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/06/2021Nice toy, but poor shipping packagingNice nostalgic toy, but be careful if you have it shipped. Walmart apparently doesn't care too much about packaging and ships it out in a bubble mailer so if you're a collector, you're going to be disappointed.TX
