Made a GREAT Gift!
I sent two of these stools to my cousin in NYC. New York is known for it's small apartments and these were perfect for his kitchen. I have two and thought he would love them, which he does! They fold up quickly, easily and stow away with no hassle. They are sturdy with a nice cushion.

Not worth the extra money
Purchased this deluxe stool to replace a similar Wal-Mart brand (cheaper too) stool that had served me for 5 years. This deluxe stool (at a higher price) after only a couple of weeks' use is certainly not going to hold up as well. The seat moves and feels very unsteady. I would return but it is an outside vendor and not worth the trouble.

    While the listing says the capacity is 300lbs, the one I received was clearly labeled as having a capacity of 220lbs. Consequently I sent it back. Have several stools of this style and LOVE THEM (which is how it got 3 stars), but really needed the 300lb capacity for this particular application.

    Well made, needs more cushion
    It seems like a nice sturdy stool. Like other people have said, there is not enough cushion in the seat, but I liked everything else about it as far as the height and the weight and the build, so I decided to buy a $20 cushion to wrap over the seat to make it more comfy.

    Love that they fold for storage!
    I love everything about this stool - it's very sturdy, there's a cushion, and folds up for storage. I bought 4 of these for my kitchen when we need extra seating, and they fit perfectly in my hall closet when not in use. Didn't come with instructions, but I was able to figure out how to fold them back up on my own.

    Manufacturer To Cheap to WELD Product Together
    Foldable is a good idea, COLLAPSIBLE is not. The two "chewing gum dob welds," one on top, one on the bottom of the cross supports, leg to leg KILLS THE PRODUCT. This is from owning one in the past. ACTUALLY WELD THE CROSS SUPPORTS and you would have good product. As is, it is not worth carrying out the store !

    Solid construction!
    The only reason I did not give this 5 Stars was because I could not walk in the store and buy it like the $15 one I did two years ago. Very sturdy for a guy my size.

    An Old Musician's Friend
    This folding stool is absolutely perfect for my needs as a seasoned citizen musician who no longer can stand for long periods while performing in a music group which I do several times each week. Also, I'm a fairly large - read fat - musician who needed a substantial stool that wouldn't crumble under my considerable weight. With this flat folding stool, I can easily transport it to and from rehearsals and gigs and it makes it possible for me to get the load off my tired feet during lengthy musical performances. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. And, the price was very reasonable.

    Great little folding bar stool
    I bought this stool because I already had one, but didn't have a bar before to use it at, so it sat in the garage. Now I have a breakfast bar, and we eat sitting on these stools all the time. They're durable, well made and look nice and the price is one I can afford. There are no cons to owning these that I can detect so far. I owned the first one for several years before putting it into serious use in the kitchen. It looks identical to the one I just bought, which comes as a surprise to me. I still would have been satisfied if it looked slightly different - but it wasn't. I guess, since they got so much positive feedback about the original model, they kept it the way it was. It's a functional and nice looking stool.
