Use for smartphones only not clearly stated
I bough this card for my son to use with his tracphone. Unfortunately, after receiving it, we noticed that it said for smartphones only. The item was non refundable and I was stuck with a useless I redeemable electronic card. This should have been clearly stated on the website when I was making the purchase.

However I didn't think I needed to look at the actual card until after I bought it. When I tried entering the airtime code it was invalid for my phone. Walmart.com doesn't give refunds for email delivered phone cards, so I'm out the money I spent. Now I'm desperately trying to sell it to someone else just to get my money back, but everyone thinks it's shady to sell a PIN number so I'm having a hard time getting my money back.Stacy

All my daughters friends have inactive iPhones, but they use iMessage to text each other. We'd rather our daughter have a phone she can use. Tracfone is perfect and with a 1000 texts for $5, she can text for about 3 months. I pay 20 cents per text with Verizon.MichaelG123

Their airtime plans are very basic and don't offer a lot in terms of text when you have a teen. We had been pricing the text only cards to add to their plans and found they had a $10 card for 1000 text messages. We thought it was a good deal, but happened to stumble upon Walmarts website where the same text only card is half the price! This is the same card sold at other retailers and Tracfones website. I have no idea why it is cheaper at Walmart, but I will be purchasing it from here now on. I purchased online and was emailed a code (code was sent within minutes but it does say to allow up to 48 hours for email) to enter on the tracfone account. ** Tracfone has some older phone models and this card will only work with the smartphones they sell ** (this card was compatible to the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime).threekidsmommy

I have not checked on my acc't balance. The 2 previous "Airtime Cards" (w/calls; text and data) I ran out of text real fast. But only after deleting messages. This happened on "Triple everything" cards. This I'm using now are from 1000 texts. I've deleted some..still have ones left and data still from (my 2nd) last Triple Time card. I lost over 125 texts that I DID NOT GET TO DO..that just disappeared. but I do know that it ONLY happened within 12 hours of deleting messages. I did not delete all texts on my system. But after I did the deleting I couldn't send any more texts..Nothing left. I still have data from the second card that I'm still using. I had 90 days service with the Triple-Time Airtime Cards. I NEED TO CALL THESE GUYS.Tempest
