Fix the zipper!!!
I have gone through five bags in the past five years and all for the same reason--the zipper breaks. With all the reviews that have been posted indicating problems with the zipper over the past several years, you would think the problem would addressed and fixed. This is an example of planned obsolescence. You won't correct the problem knowing that eventually customers will have to buy more replacement bags. Instead, you just say to not drag the bag on the ground. Many times that can't be helped, especially when the bag is getting full and when you take it off the vacuum to empty it.. Why not move the zipper to the side of the bag so it won't touch the ground? That would make more sense.

    Everyone else complains about the zipper, but here's another reason this product is garbage: it was not made for consumer installation. There are no installation instructions in/on the box, in the manual, or from Toro. I contacted Customer "Care," who told me to CUT OFF the other bag with scissors and attach this one with a rubber band or zip tie. I don't want to destroy my other bag, this was bought so I can swap out the two. Repeated attempts to get technical instructions from Customer "Care" were fruitless. They treat the machine and all parts as disposable. Sorry, Walmart, this is getting returned.

    PLEASE improve the bags!
    We bought this leaf blower vac a couple years ago and the machine itself is great! However, as mentioned by several other people, the replacement bags for the vacuum portion are awful! We end up having to buy 2-3 extra bags every year, and we only use it for our own yard. The zipper is not good, and the fabric needs to be more heavy-duty.

    Yes, the zipper on the bag is awful.
    I just purchased a replacement and because the old zipper fell apart at the ends I've shortstopped the ends with zip-ties. I slit the fabric of the zipper and ran the tie through. I then hit the fabric slits with a bead of hot glue. Hopefully this will work.

    Missing the original bag's plastic, vacuum collar
    Don't buy it unless you have the original bag's plastic, vacuum collar, and even then, it's still not a good idea to buy it. It is missing the vacuum collar - read the fine print. Toro expects you to attach it to the old collar.

    Toro Bottom Zip leaf replacement bag
    I have gone through three bags in less than two years. The zipper is a piece of junk and will break easily after just a few uses. I would recommend that Toro remedies the cheap zipper with a zipper that could last. I am not a landscaper so It is not overuse!

    Dump the "Dump Bags"
    I love the Toro Blower/Vacuum. BUT, I have to purchase about two canvass bags a season. They need to have a re-enforcement on the area where all the debris comes into the bag and hits the canvass. After repeatedly hitting this area, it finally starts a small hole, which very quickly becomes a large hole and unusable. WAKE UP TORO. Fix this problem!!!

    Another review for a bad collection bag
    Funny, I came on to the site to contact Toro about my bag, and I saw all these reviews about bag issues. I rarely use the vacuum/bag portion of the tool, but had to yesterday, for maybe the 3rd time over the past 12 months. While zipping up the bag to close, the zipper would just not catch properly in several spots. I kept examining the zipper in the first area it would catch, and can't find any damage - I don't see why there would be since it's hardly been used. Very frustrating, and I couldn't finish cleaning up properly since the bag wouldn't hold waste. Going to call Toro CS, hopefully will be able to get a replacement.

    Toro products are great.
    I have always recommended Toro products. They are easy to use and perform well. My only complaint with the bags on the blowers is that they don't last more than one season. I prefer the bag the zips down the side instead of the bottom, but it was not found on the web page this year.
