My Perfect Watch
I was looking for a watch that had big black numbers that I can read. It has a second hand, and for me the best part - - it has the indigo aspect which is so great. All I have to do is push a button and I can see the time in complete darkness. It also has a twist band that I prefer and it's looks sporty. The price was unbelievable. I saved $20 on this watch compared to other stores and online sites.

"winder" broke, leaving sharp edge
my mother moved to an assisted living facility in nov.. so, we hadn't been able to visit, until recently. and, she showed me that "winder" somehow broke, leaving a sharp edge. she said it's been that way for a while, and it digs into her wrist. my sister bought her a new watch, but, she really liked this one.

    This is the only watch I will buy. No other has the features like I want. The price is right, It is a Timex, waterproof to a degree, The dial lights up, it shows the date and the band doesn't tarnish

    A Perfect Gift

    Nice watch but band is painful
    While utilitarian and nicely functional, I have never had such a small expansion band that continued to pinch painfully such that I no longer wear. I have smallish wrists so that shouldn't be an issue. I suspect price constraints have caused chinzing on the number of inserts to make it painfully small. Unless you have a child's wrist, wouldn't buy.

    Simple and elegant
    It's difficult to find a simple watch with an expansion bracelet. This Timex model is perfect . I have a small wrist and this watch has a 1” diameter which doesn't overpower my wrist. Yet the numerals are large and clear. It has a second hand and a small box that tells the date. (You pull the setting button out half way to set the date and all the way to set the time. A helpful service rep explained this!) Some reviewers complained that the band wasn't long enough. With my small wrist I actually have extra room. The bracelet is 6” long while unexpanded.

    Bracelet too big for small wrist.
    Everything about this was perfect, except for the bracelet, which was too big for my (very small) wrist and could not be adjusted. I had to send it back, alas.

    Easy Reader 25mm Stainless Steel Watch
    The watch was just the right size, for viewing as well as for my wrist. It is easy to read, love the second hand and date, and the Indiglo function is a new add for me. Very well appreciated.

    Too small
    I really like the classic style of this watch. I would wear it everyday with everything. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars, is that the band is too small. I am a slim woman, and it's a little too tight on me. It's almost child size. I am keeping an eye out for a new band now.
