My 12 year old has been responsible for her laundry for most of her life in some form, even if it was just putting it up @ a young age. Once she turned 10 we began teaching her the washing & drying process, all the different soaps and settings. Her biggest set back was using the wrong amount of soap, and it was costly for our bank account lol Once we bought the pods for her she's been independently doing her laundry since without incident and it's more cost effective for us! Not only that, but I trust that her clothes are getting thoroughly washed and clean because we use tide on every load. To my amazement, not only was their price for the 100 ounce containers less than half of the next lowest price, but they also threw in free shipping. I bought 5. Our son transferred as an almost junior so he didn't have to live in a dorm. I still expected the overflow bundle of 'holiday laundry' but I knew my son would appreciate our favorite and the best--laundry detergent. It's a little bulky to carry along but its well worth it--many,many times over. Our son would put the Tide liquid in a small measured container- a decoy. He was in a hurry to do laundry on a weekend so he took the WHOLE bottle to the laundry room. Sure enough! In his haste to get done and gone he almost 'lost' about 100oz of Tide! Someone 'moved' it! Maybe it looked like 'community' detergent! Seriously,laundry soap is expensive and Tide is especially good so I wouldn't flash the bottle or Pods--of any size. This fantastically large size may seem expensive but if it's used by the cap full (that's all you need) it lasts a long,long while. This was a very useful,practical college bound product/purchase.
