Amazing PS4 Accessory!
My children, ages 10 & 12, LOVE this racing wheel! We play with the PS4 game "Gran Turismo" and they have a blast racing each other and their friends when they come over. The only disappointment is the wheel attaches to a stand (which we dont have yet) or a table, which is not feasible when you have your gaming console set up in front of a TV. Since we did not know we needed a racing wheel stand we attached the racing wheel to a TV tray, which seems to work just fine. I would highly recommend this product, super fun, wholesome racing action for the entire family. I'd also recommend you invest in the racing wheel stand for the best stability while playing.

Stiff and Difficult
I got this wheel for my husband and I. We play a lot of car-related games on our PS4 like Rocket League and the Twisted Metal series to name a few. Unfortunately this wheel didn't work on any of our pre-downloaded games because in all of our games you have to control the camera angle while playing. We googled what games were compatible and downloaded a farming simulator just to try it out. It was fun at first, however the controls are very stiff and hard to use in general unless you get one of the stands/accessory mounts to really hold these things in place. Humans don't have enough limbs to hold these steady, even to simply drive a tractor in straight lines to plow a simulated field. Petals were constantly shifting under foot with light use. Wheel was stiff and difficult to turn. All this being said: the wheel works. Has all the buttons you need to play the game. For an avid player of car games who would be willing to mount these suckers into place and play, this would be a great set. If car games aren't you're thing or you're not willing to invest in some kind of mount with the wheel set, not worth it.

    This Thrustmaster T80 PS4 Officially Licensed Racing Wheel, 4169071 is only okay. It seems to be only designed to screw into a console or clip on the edge of a desk to use with a computer screen. We got it to use with our TV and PlayStation 4 and it is nearly impossible to use. None of my children were able to operate it and their ages are nine, seven, and five. My husband was kind of able to work the wheel by suspending it between his legs and holding it with his legs to maneuver the wheel. A child would not have legs long enough to do this. I am sure it would work much better in a console or a desk. The chords, however, are not nearly long enough and you have to be so close to the screen in order for them to reach. That does seem to be a design flaw. The gas and brake pedals are rather stiff to push down and you definitely have to have one foot holding the base so it doesn't move around as you are accelerating or breaking. This is nearly impossible to do if you are simultaneously trying to secure the wheel between your legs and paints rather a humorous picture when you think about it. This product is a fun idea but not worth it unless you're going to get longer cords or have it clipped onto a desk.

    Overall great starting wheel!
    I love the fact that this Thrustmaster T80 set can be used with a PC or with our PS4. My son helped me set it up and we had fun playing Some games with it. Some things we noticed: The wheel is a little sensitive, but after some adjusting, trial and error, we got it to the perfect playing spot. The brake pedal has a nice stiffness to it and I felt comfortable with that right away. One of the things that I wasn't sure we would need, but turns out, it is a must and a great feature, is the clamp it comes with to hold it down to a table/surface. When I am playing a game, I can get a little too rough when turning the wheel and it will slide if I don't use the clamp. The only downside we could find: It is not a true force feedback system, but rather a bungee cord system which causes some racing games to feel a bit "floaty". Overall, this is a very nice racing wheel setup and we really enjoy playing with it. The racing games are a lot more fun with this system and I lose myself in the game more than with just a controller. It is a great addition to our gaming equipment and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking about getting one. What would be cool is if we had two of them & could compete!

    My child and I absolutely love this game! This is a great addition to have for PlayStations. Overall it works very well. It's actually very similar to driving a regular car except the steering wheel is a lot smaller. The pedals make it super realistic. The setup is pretty easy and simple. So far it seems to be very sturdy but we are looking into but purchasing a little TV room table this way we can have the steering wheel up high instead of our on our knees, which makes it a bit harder to use. Overall this is a very fun racing game to add to any game room. I would definitely recommend it!

    Fun Addition to PS4 Racing Games
    The Thrustmaster T80 PS4 Racing Wheel makes the Racing Games So Much Fun! It places you in the experience of actually racing the car. I initially had some problems, but I realized that the Thrustmaster T80 is not compatible with All PS4 Racing Games. The game I ordered was not compatible, but Thankfully I found a list of compatible games on the Manufacturer's website. Once I got a compatible game, the T80 was very easy to set up. The system comes with the Racing Wheel and also the pedals. I really like that the Racing Wheel attaches to the surface. The base of the T80 slides onto the edge of a table or desk and secures tightly. It is important to make sure the table is very steady. This is so much better than just sitting on the surface. The Pedals have rubber grips on the bottom, but on a low pile carpet, the base of the pedals did slide a little. The Thrustmaster T80 Wheel moves just like a real wheel & is very responsive in the game. The Thrustmaster T80 is a Great Addition to PS4 Racing Games. The quality is Excellent and my daughter s said the T80 is far better than anything she has played with at an Arcade. The Thrustmaster T80 makes a Great gift for the Gamer in your life.

    Good addition to have for PS4 racing games!
    Racing wheel instructions were clear enough to install with no problems. I was able to try racing wheel with need for speed Heat. I like the feel of the steering wheel... product is durable not cheaply made! The game was easy to manage with wheel features. It was definitely an exciting experience I definitely recommend to have, definitely feels different then when you play racing game with controller. Item is has definitely become one of my favorite items to have!!

    Okay for what it is
    This is okay if you have time to mount it correctly and set it up. It's not practical for everyday gaming. It's really only useful for racing games. It sits funny on the desk, so you would need to mount it properly to something. The petals are quite stiff and it's not an easy setup. Some people may absolutely love this steering wheel and the pedals, it's just not for me. I think maybe this would be a great gift for younger children who should be playing things like racing games instead of Grand theft Auto on the PlayStation. They may really love it.

    Versatile (FOR PC USE), and EASY TO SETUP
    Thrustmaster T80 for PS3/PS4; Way to be Licensed; it is much smoother on PS4 than PC, BUT Versatile (FOR PC USE TOO!) EASY TO SETUP!! My setup was with my laptop; Windows 10 (tried only Asphalt/Gameloft; wasn't recognized. It worked well with actual PC games on Origin like Need 4 Speed(s), Grand Turismo, GTA!! I can't wait to delve into it more; See if works with VR, Steam, TV, Nvidia shield; ohhh, when time allows... PROS: Fun, Comfortable, adjustable, Nice solid wheel; not flimsy (eventhough plastic), not heavy, Love the rubberizing (picture doesn't do it justice), Pedals take some getting used to, but I feel they are more broke into now. CONS: Wheel on small side, BUT for kids will be good (just make sure secure and balanced like I did with the Ikea laptop table) Not ideal for PC as can only use on certain games, AND have to designate the controls, ugh. This will make a great gift for a child / aspiring race car driver!

    Nice introduction to other peripherals
    The Thrustmaster T80 is an entry-level steering wheel for Playstation 3, 4, and for PC. While it doesn't have force feedback, it offers natural resistance. It comes with a brake and gas pedal, but no clutch pedal. Before you buy one, check to see what games are compatible with it first. You can google it or find out at the manufacturer's website. I tested the T80 on a demo version of Project Cars 2 for PlayStation 4. This was my first time using a steering wheel other than at an arcade. I game on an awkward table with beveled edges, but had no problem securely mounting the wheel. It also has the standard PlayStation controller setup on the wheel and all the buttons were easy to reach. Using it in game for the first time took some getting used to, but I found there wasn't much of a learning curve and I adapted rather quickly. My only complaint, though it's a major drawback for me, is that the pedal base is lightweight and offers little resistance to sliding, though I have hardwood floors. I had little problem with depressing the gas pedal when needed, but using the brake pedal was virtually impossible, as every attempt caused the base to slide away from me, and that interfered with a smooth driving experience. I think the company should fix the problem with the pedal base. It seems like a small problem, but it had a big impact on my gaming experience. Of course, you might be able to fix this yourself by using a traction mat, so it doesn't really have to be a deal breaker. I would recommend the T80 to anyone starting out or even those on a budget as I've found the higher-tiered racing wheels to be very expensive peripherals.

    PS4 Racing wheel & pedal
    I gotta say that I was really looking forward to receiving this steering wheel and pedal set for my PS4 because I have recently bought the new Nascar game. I've never used anything like this for a racing game before . So it was interesting to say the least. The set up is pretty simple and pretty self explanatory! The pedals feel nice and pretty lifelike. Same goes for the steering wheel. My only complaint would be that I was hoping for a lifelike feel as far as when you bump up against the wall or another car. But overall , its a nice product and I plan on using it quite a bit. I'll definitely be buying more racing games because I have this.
