Pretty addition to any kitchen
Works very simply by spinning the acacia wood handle and sifting flour through a colander, flour separates as it falls into most size containers. I like the one handed old fashion plain metal ones because they can be used one handed, but this Pioneer Woman is MUCH easier to clean then the old fashion one. The little attached tag says to hand wash. My old fashion one was not supposed to be washed at all which always made me uncomfortable. When my sifter arrived I rinsed it with dish soap and water then allowed to air dry. I am not a good enough baker to judge if flour sifting is better from the old fashion layered colander sifter or this pretty crank type, as long as flour is not lumpy and sifts out lighter I'm happy. My baking was equally good with either sifter, but the Pioneer Woman's sifter appearance and easy cleaning won my heart. My attached pics compare my very old sifter and my pretty new one.

Not worth the money
This item is very cheaply made and when I tried to use it, it spewed flour all over the counter.

    I love this pioneer woman sifter. It has been a great addition to my baking utensils. Not only is it a beautiful design but the functionality is perfect, comfortable handle with easy grip. It's sifts with ease and a timely manner and is constructed very well. Easy clean up and is hand wash only.

    Beautifully Fluffy Flour!
    I always wanted one of these hand cranked sifters, so I was so excited when this arrived. In the past, I have always used a hand strainer in the past, which is definitely not the same. Upon arrival, I promptly washed and dried the sifter and then I loaded it up with flour. I was easily able to turn the crank and I cranked out beautifully fluffy flour. I think I had too much fun using it. I like the old time look of it, even the pattern on the front gives it a nostalgic feel. I have heard other people complain of jamming with these types of sifters, but I have not experienced any issue with jamming so far. I am a little concerned with rust, as it does look like it could rust easily, but I'm hoping that rust doesn't take over for awhile. The sifter is pretty sturdy. It did not feel flimsy at all in my hands. Also, my hands are small and I had no issue using it. It was easy to pick up and crank. I can't wait to try this on my vanilla sugar to see how it does. This will now be a staple in my kitchen!

    Let's start baking!
    I was needing one of these! I love to bake and this is a must in a lot of baking. This works really good. The handle turns really good. I done flour and powdered sugar and it works really good. It's made good and seems that it will late a long time. I love the rose color. I would recommend this to others. It's pretty and works great! Does better than it should.

    I love anything from Pioneer Woman. All her prints are just beautiful from her farmhouse to her old Word roses down to her peonies prints. This sister is no exception to her stuff. My momma taught me ti sift my flour for baking and thus sifter puts a nice touch in my kitchen. It looks lovely just sitting put on my counter

    Pretty and Practical
    I used a sifter when making baked goods while growing up. Then I used the dip and scrape method. So many recipes did not come out just right. I decided to get a sifter. This makes a lot of difference in my finished products. The Pioneer Woman Sweet Rose Sifter is so pretty, it makes me want to use it! It is made of quality materials and the crank is sturdy. Great kitchen tool to have on hand!

    Beautiful as Decor as well!
    Works great, had no problems with it. It breaks up lumps in flour so I get more of an accurate measurement. Sifted flour is much lighter than unsifted and is easier to mix into other ingredients. Hand crank adds such a country feel, Love it! Beautiful design just like all Pioneer Woman products. Her products are so pretty, I leave most of my PW products sitting out as decoration as well.

    I love this hand held crank sifter from Pioneer Woman. It's beautiful and functional. This is my first hand held crank sifter, I've been using a strainer and it gets a bit messy. The handle turns very easy and I can hold right over my bowl when sifting my ingredients together. It is made well and will definitely get a lot of use and when not in use it looks pretty sitting on my pantry shelves.

    Now my kitchen is almost complete, I always wanted a flour sifter so that I can make fluffy biscuits and pie crust. This sifter has a wooden hand that makes easy to turn. You can aerate flours, mix ingredients, or remove lumps from baking ingredients by turn of the handle to work ingredients through the mesh screen. The design is nice. Overall this great quality sifter and easy to wash.
