    This is the remake of this movie that was made in 1940's. It has Chris Pine who's is great this movie. It's a true story based in in 1951 coast guard. You will enjoy the movie.

    Great film! Absolute vision fest! Recommend
    This is a great film. The video and audio quality are great on this DVD. If you’re into action films or true stories, or both, then this is the film for you. The story itself was good. I don’t think they needed to add the “romantic touch” to it, as it wasn’t necessary since in real life Bernie’s wife was sick at home with the flu for the entire incident. As retired U.S. Coast Guard, we felt the film should have spent more time on the “story” itself rather than the love story on how Bernie and Miriam met, as it didn’t really add anything to the story. It was just a waste of film, effort, time and money. Overall, it did a fantastic job of showing the magnitude of what the U.S. Coast can and does do with normal men and woman ready to give their all.
