Great Guide for Little Girls
This book was recommended by my 9yr old daughter's doctor. The book gave my daughter insight as to what to expect as she blossoms from a moth to a butterfly. I recently recommended this book to my daughters girl scout troop so that each girl can be able to grasp their own understanding of how to cope with changes as their grow. If you have or know girls ages 8-11 I highly recommend this book as a gift for them trust me it will be their treasure.

This book is a good introduction to that special talk for a blooming young lady. I was very impressed however I would like a little more variety for nationalities over the wide spectrum. Maybe something to the extent every girl has "this or that a different color but it is all the same" nevertheless, a easy entertaining read 8 and up, factual, and not to graphic.

    Great for pre puberty girls
    Good book for girls that are getting ready for pre-puberty. Written very age-appropriately colorful easy read pages. There was a few topics that I felt did not apply to my daughter so we just placed construction paper over those pages. One was about weight and body image. She has no issues with that and I felt like I didn't want to plant the seed in her head. And the other was about tampons we will uncover that page when she gets older. And if you notice any type of body image issues we will uncover those pages as well. It touched on subjects about body care eating healthy and also changing bodies.

    Well written for young girls
    This book has been very helpful for discussing growth and changes. It covers a variety of subjects and explains them in a way that would answer many questions that a young girl would have, while leaving room for discussion with the parent. I am thankful to have this book and would recommend it to any mom with daughters. It reminded me of questions that I had when I was this age.

    Great for any young pre-teen girl
    My daughter saw this book at a friend's house and told me about it. I thought it sounded great for her as well as any mom. She has been reminding me to get it for a while. I finally found it online and for a great price! The day it arrived she read the entire book and was excited with its content. I also looked through the book and must say I am thoroughly pleased with it and the care, delicacy and appropriate honesty it shares.

    Good for little women
    My wife bought this book to help explain the growing process of girls to women. My 9 year old read the book and it helped answer a lot of the questions she was afraid to ask. Now she is more confident with herself, and when we explain something to her, she isn't puzzled why.
