These are a huge hit for my 5 year old. The longer you soak them the better as they are very hard clay and little weak hands do have some trouble getting them chiseled open.

don't let employees pick it out for you
whatever you do do not leave this to the employees to pick out, go do it yourself. I got two of them for basket stuffers and one of them is intact and the other one is broken into a bunch of tiny pieces. I had no choice but have them delivered because I can't go get them myself or my kid would see, im not ready to burst a 4yr old bubble yet. I don't have the option to leave him with somebody and go sneakily buy things. I used to make excuses with him, oh this is for your cousin for Christmas, birthday whatever, he knows it's for him now. what a crappy surprise when you see your momma picking out your gift. after today though I think I am finally ready to sign up for my own Amazon account. so please go get it yourself or pick something else out

    Fun little egg!
    Cool little egg. My 10 year old son had so much fun digging out the dinosaur. At first I questioned the chisel tool without a hammer, the egg and chisel were perfect, pliable material. Awesome awesome awesome, would buy another one!

    Cut My Fiances Hands
    My fiancé likes dinosaurs so I had got this for him as a little surprise. Well surprise it was… he had gotten the egg wet *per instructions* and when all was said and done he had cuts all over his hands, he didn’t realize the clay or whatever it is was cutting into his hand. So now as I’m sitting her writing this he has bandaged his hands and they are burning. 10/10 would NOT recommend for kids.

    Does not come apart like a bath ball
    I made the mistake of thinking this would dissolve up like a bath bomb and it made a mess and left a clogged drain. My child liked it but it's definitely a porch or grass activity.

    Fun activity for the kids!
