Great value with very poor service.
The plan is cheap to start but there it ends. I work at a major international airport in New Jersey And the T-Mobile data service is almost absent at That location. My friends with AT&T and Verizon telephone Can watch YouTube, while I will be lucky to view my emails. The upload/download speed runs from 0.01- 0.03 Mb. Unless T-Mobile can increase this sorry state of their phone Data service, they will not be able to retain the new customers For long. Thank you.

Easy and Great deals if 100
If you're like me and you want the best but cheapest plan, and you don't require a lot of talk time (I use FaceTime and Whatsapp calls mostly to call my friends and family so I don't need unlimited minutes), then I highly recommend this plan for you! First you have to get the T-mobile SIM card, if you don't already have one (on Amazon it's much cheaper than the T-mobile website). Then purchase this plan from Walmart and get the codes on your email. This part is quick and easy. Go to the T-mobile website to activate your new SIM, and choose this plan. Apply codes from your email and viola!

For heavy data/text user this is the best
Bought this from walmart and activated within an hour. Data speed is very fast. Can't complain. I wish this plan had 200 minutes or so. Skype with $3 a month unlimited US/Canada might works if need more than 100 minutes per month. However any VoIP services will not be as clear as mobile service voice quality. I am just testing this out to see if this plan is keeper or not.

Works Great for existing Tmobile customers
I read all the reviews on this site and on the internet to make sure that if I purchased this that I could transfer my existing post-paid Tmobile phone number to this pre-paid type of account. I must say that I successfully did just that back on August 9. All you have to do is a) have a tmobile phone or any unlocked phone b) have a brand new sim kit that hasn't been activated c) purchase this card (do it earlier in the week so you won't have to wait for customer service) d) ensure that your current Tmobile number is no longer under contract Once you have the items above, follow the instructions on the sim activation kit and activate the sim card. You will receive a new phone number. You won't have to put the new sim into your phone to activate it. After you activate the sim card, call Tmobile and ask for the Prepaid customer service. Tell them you want to transfer your post-paid phone number to your prepaid sim card, replacing the sim card's temporary number. They will first check to make sure you're not still on contract. Then they will make the switch for you. You should then register for a new my-tmobile account based on your old number. The switch takes about 24 hours for which both the new and old sim cards will work. I just put the new sim card in and used that immediately after my call with Tmobile. p.s. I just attempted to buy two more of these prepaid cards from Walmart 8/20. I successfully placed the orders but within 10 minutes Walmart canceled the orders citing that they couldn't process the transaction. No matter how many different credit cards I used or how many Paypal accounts I used, all the orders kept getting cancelled. So I went to Amazon.com and found two cards. They worked perfectly.

    Review the plan specifics
You can't use data roaming with this plan. If you're in an area that doesn't have t-mobile coverage, you're down to your minutes and texts, so plan accordingly. Otherwise, great value and good speed, and the setup with the prepaid WalMart card went fine. It's not necessary to get this card, though. You can just get the t-mobile free sim (look for deal codes online) and sign up on their prepaid web site (as others have said, not through the telephone agent) for the $30/month option.

    Best value for the money
I switched to this plan from a sprint family plan which was costing me 100 dollars per line after fees. This came with unlimited talk, text, and data, however the data was so slow i ended up using less than 500 mb per month. (Orange County/ Los Angeles) I text and email a lot more than I talk on the phone, so I thought this plan would work out well. It has been a month and so far service has been exceptional, especially considering the price. The best part is if I go over on by 200 minutes it would still be half the price of my old plan. Highly recommend this to anyone looking at it.

    Great Plan For Me!
I swithced from a Samsung Galaxy Captivate on AT & T to the Samsung Exhibit II Prepaid phone to cut down on monthly costs. I had to step down from a 4" screen to a 3.75" screen and thought that might be a problem but not really at all. I did have to step down from a 5 megapixel camera to a 3 megapixel camera, but this is a phone not a camera so that did not bother me at either. I paid with tx about $32 a month as compared with $77 a month and the plan and the phone fir me much better. Totally happy with the phone's performance and with T-Mobile.

    Best Plan Ever
In order for you to get this plan you need a new activation from Tmobile. That means you have to buy an Activation Kit, get it from Amazon.com for $3. After you receive this kit, you must activate new phone number on tmobile.com. DO NOT Call them or you will not be able to pick this plan. After putting all the info from activation kit and IMEI # from ANY tmobile phone, it will prompt you to pick the plan that you want, pick this plan. Then it will provide you with the new phone number. If you get some kind of message from tmobile saying that they are processing you request and blah blah blah, DO NOT call them, Try again or pick a different area code for your new number. It took me 3 times before I got my new number. After you get this plan you can either pay be credit card there or buy this card from walmart.com and get it in the email. Also for unlimited calls in the US you can get skype calling for $3 a month voice over ip. Works great, I love my new and cheap PLAN.
