    For the chef who has everything...
    When usefulness is NOT essential this is the perfect size for the cook who has every other size of skillet. If the EZ bake oven came with an EZ stove this might work. The manufacturer's instructions warn against putting their cookware on a heating element that is too large, but unless you are using your coffeepot's warming element I cannot imagine that any stove has an element that is less than four and a half inches in diameter!?! The handle is too slim to manage the heat should you disregard the manufacturer's instructions; if it were thicker the pan would flip over with the weight. However this product gets POINTS FOR CUTENESS as it looks like a one-fourth model of T-fal's full size skillets. If you're looking for a gag gift for the chef of your life at Christmas or Valentines, this would certainly have shock value. As for cooking eggs, this one-egg pan is too small for that task. A single large egg covers the bottom of the pan from edge to edge, which leaves no room to slip a spatula under it to lift the egg out. The sides are not rounded enough to slide the egg out as one might with an omelet pan. And the manufacturer warns against using cooking sprays as it might harm the non-stick surface. I was hoping that this pan might serve as an egg ring to create a perfectly round egg for breakfast sandwiches, but the difficulty extracting the egg provides a less than perfect presentation. Also the manufacturer suggests only using the pan on low heat, which is quite time consuming for a single egg. (Maybe it was meant to be used on a coffee warmer after all). The pan is not oven safe so it cannot be used to bake treats, as one might use a cast iron skillet of the same size. It is too thick to use as a wall hanging, too big to be a ring holder; it is about right as a spoon rest but only for a light weight spoon. What's hilarious is that the packaging includes an image of a skillet aligned with a full-sized dinner plate that holds two eggs and two slices of bacon. This skillet, however, is closer to the size of a tea saucer. Again, points for CUTENESS!

    NOT non-stick
    NOT non stick for eggs. Youre supposed to clean it with a mild detergent and water before use which i did. The egg still sticks in the pan. I now use a olive oil cooking spray. With that, i can flip the egg over or just slide it out of the pan. I do love using it for frying just one egg. Perfect for that but dont expect non stick.

    Just what I was looking for.
    It's not the biggest problem in the world, but I was tired of having too much egg when using liquid egg product. This makes just enough for an egg sandwich and the price was right. It's T-Fal, which I've owned for years; it's an excellent brand.

    I got this mainly to cook eggs for an Egg sandwich. It is the perfect size for that. The omlette fits perfectly on a Bagel or roll.
