An easy and inexpensive fix for PC motherboard audio failure. Love the volume and mic controls on the adapter. Works just as I expected and hoped it would.

Sound For My Server
When my motherboard died in my main PC, I decided to save up and build a new system. For now, I am reading email / surfing on my media file server. Since it came with no sound setup natively, this product fills the bill so that I can watch videos on Google news, Skype my sister, and watch the occasional movie. I have no need for a home theater sound system, so this product is serving well until I get my next system up and operational. I would recommend this to anyone who needs basic sound, can't use an internal sound card, and has a USB port available.

    I lost the sound in my computer, which had the sound built into the mother board; no separate sound card could be found to install, because it has a narrow tower. This solved the sound problem. Works great. I just plugged it into one of the USB ports on the front of the tower. I found it when researching online, and finally found this item on your web site.

    I am very happy with this product. I also purchased the Turtle Beach USB Sound Adapter, and while I'm happy with that, I think the sound from this is SLIGHTLY better. I like that the volume control is right there on the adapter, so you don't have to open up the volume control panel on your computer (and also has mute buttons as well). I use it for DJing (so I don't have to use my in/outs on the computer), and I have no issues with this.

    I use this product for my Playstation 3, I hook up my headset to it and its ready to go. No installation or anything. If you are going to use it for playstation and its not working make sure you go into the playstation setting-->accesories-->audio accesories. then change it so that the input and output goes through this adaptor. I was a bit frustrated at first because I didn't know to do that, so i thought it wasn't working. It's all good now though :)
