Immediately fixed my air quality problem.
Not too long ago I bought my mom's car. Every time I turned on the air conditioner it would smell like an old musty wet rag for a few minutes and my nose would start to plug up really bad. It never dawned on me that there was a filter for this. So when I was offered to do a review on the Super Tech Cabin Air Filter I was surprised and happy at the same time to find out that I can actually fix this problem. I tackled changing the filter by myself and was surprised at how easy it was to change it. It was located behind the glove box. Everything went smooth and I got the new filter in without any problems. The glove box was easy to remove and put back on, it just took a little bit of muscle. Boy that old filter was plum full of dirt and debris, so mom must not have known either that there is a filter in there that you need to change. I'm happy to say that the new filter is working perfectly. Now when I turn on the air conditioner the smell is gone! It immediately took care of the odor problem. I'm just tickled pink over this and now I don't have to roll down the windows to air it out every time I run the air. And my nose doesn't plug up anymore. It's been pure heaven! I have a 2007 Toyota Camry and used the filter number 7255. It fit perfectly. The filter is 1.14 by 7.64 by 8.46. It's good for either 2 years or 20,000 miles.

    Definitely needed
    I definitely needed a new filter for my Ford Escape. The new filter is completely identical to the OEM and should work just fine for me. However I'd recommend that you check your filters and make sure that they aren't getting too dirty. This is 3 years and 30k miles of use latter this is what the original one looks like! I'm giving 4 out of five stars because of shipping damage. The box came crushed but the filter seems to be okay.

    Quality replacement filter
    The SuperTech Cabin Air Filter 7260 replacement cabin filter is a quality filter that matches up to the original filter except in one major area. Your car generally has two air filters, one for your engine and one for your cabin. The purpose of the filter is to prevent any debris or particles from the outside air from getting into your engine or cabin. It is important to replace them according to the manufacturer recommendations because they do get clogged up with junk and it will impact your engine's performance and your cabin may start stinking. Cabin filters are one of the easiest car maintenance tasks that an owner can do. I did not have to use any tools on my Toyota and it only took about five minutes to get to the filter. I first had to lower my glovebox and that was done by pulling aside the plastic bumper and then carefully lowering the box. Afterwards, I accessed the filter by removing the cover and pulling out the filter housing. The SuperTech filter feels solid and the material is not flimsy. The quality is on par with the filter that I was changing out. My only complaint is that the filter was slightly longer so I had to trim it to have it fit in the housing.

    Great way to save on routine car care
    The SuperTech cabin air filter was easy to use and a cost effective way to change the cabin air filter in your car without paying extra in labor fees. The A/C smelled musty and like dust before, but smells fresh now. No extra odors come from the filter itself either.

    Easy Installation
    I have needed one of these cabin air filters for quite some time. It should be changed about every 12000 miles. The filter helps trap particles from the air like dust, pollen, spores, and other microscopic things. It neutralizes the air in the cabin for cleaner breathing. I thought this would be difficult to change but it wasn't. My filter is located behind the glove box which is a no tool process. It takes about 15 minutes tops to change. The improvement in the quality of the cabin air is marginal.

    Worked great!
    I followed the directions on the packaging as well as looked at YouTube videos. The process itself is simple enough, getting the glove box out was the most difficult part, but that has nothing to do with the filter. The filter itself will go in slightly to the left and leave an inch gap on the right as it should. It almost seems like it doesn't quite fit in all the way but I was able to close it just fine and it looked about the same as the YouTube videos. No problems so far!! Happy to have clean air again in our car!
