I previously had purchased two of these units so I knew what I was getting. The best buy however was at Walmart. The extra storage meets all my needs and the appearance is fantastic. Impervious to the elements keeping everything dry and just as clean as the day I put things away.
Thank You for a great purchase.

Poor Hinge Design - DOES NOT LAST
I bought this shed 2 years ago, and it is soon to become basically useless. The metal hinges do not hold up to the elements. After 2 years in south Florida, all four of my hinges are completely rusted out including 1 of them that has completed separated the door from the base of the shed. Not a huge deal, I figure I can buy more hinges. So I buy 4 new hinges from Suncast for 13$. However, when I go to replace them, I realize that the deteriorated hinges have clamped down on the plastic hinge of the door. So when I have been opening the shed for the last few months, unbeknownst to me, the hinge was not working as designed, and the plastic was essentially just
twisting in order for the door to open. So now the entire door is about to fall off. Well that is unfortunate. So I filed a complaint with Suncast, and they told me to take pictures. So I sent them pictures. Then, their response was that since I did not have a 6" concrete foundation for the shed, they wouldn't provide any kind of support for the product. I told them that the foundation has absolutely nothing to do with the damage caused by the deterioration of the hinge material, but that was the end of that conversation.
Something needs to change about this design. Due to the insulting response, and lack of support from Suncast, I will be avoiding their products.

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/24/2021Damaged upon arrival. This product arrived damaged. The box was pretty beat up and I mentioned it to the driver. He said the company checks it over to ensure no parts of the box damage affects the product. My husband got a large portion of it together before the damage on the roof was discovered. This wasn't a cheap and it's pretty unimpressive. I should have refused delivery but I took the drivers word for it that it was inspected. I also had to take a day off of work because I was told I had to sign for it....which I didn't. It's a nice product but I won't purchase large items from Walmart again.Kirsten

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/23/2014NICE SHED BUT A PAIN TO BULID THE BASENice shed but as others have said it's a pain to have to build the base to set it on. I don't understand why Suncast doesn't offer some sort of a thick honeycomb nylon or fiberglass base to their customers. The manufacturer recommends building the base out of 2x6 boards but I used 2x4s instead. Regardless, when you buy the boards they are 8 feet long so it's tough to get them home if you only have a small car. The plywood you need is ¾ thick and also very heavy and expensive for pressure treated wood. My base sits on a foundation of 4 inches of limestone rocks lined with weed barrier and a 2x4 boarder to keep the rocks from getting into the lawn. Rocks are heavy and digging a hole for the foundation is no picnic either if you have tree roots in the way. The actual shed assembly went smoothly by myself. I don't understand why some people say you need 2 people. Assembling the shed was a little more involved than I expected but kind of fun in a way. Make sure and read the direction very carefully. The errors I made were due to me not carefully reading the directions. I would DEFINITELY recommend having an electric screw driver because there are a lot of screws.Bruha48073

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/12/2014Even better than I expectedI am very happy with the quality of this Suncast shed. It is sturdier than I expected. It uses metal hinges on the doors, and has piston hinges to open and close the shed roof. It went together in just a few hours, with most of that time spent building a wooded deck to sit it on.Newsgirl4

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/01/2014Nice medium size storage shed but takes workI really like the shed but assembly is a difficult job for someone who is not very handy. You must have a second person and one of you should be a handyman type. Also a strong, level base is critical and is an added job plus expense in the making of a concrete slab or wooden platform if you are setting up in your yard. Perhaps a gravel base may work as it would be easier and less expensive but it is not given as an option in the instructions. The instructions could also show expanded detail in several places where the illustrations detail is unclear. In short it is a nice shed but it is a job to prepare and assemble properly. I am not very handy and it took me about 8 hours total for the base plus shed assembly. I may not have bought it if I knew how much work it was but now that it's done I'm happy with it. The 70 sq ft storage is nice and $300 cost is worth it.handyno

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/22/2014Perfect for the Trash CansThe Suncast shed is perfect for storing lots of things (bikes, lawn mowers, garden supplies etc., I'm using it for my two large trash cans and it has plenty of room and is well made. I love the hydraulic lifting lid, makes it easy to open/close. Make sure you have a level surface to set it up on or your doors may not open and close to easily.EuroFan

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/29/2014Just what I neededThis item was perfect for what I needed. Great customer service from Walmart store associates (site to store pickup). Went together easy. Just be aware that part QQ is listed in parts section of instruction booklet, and is a required part, but is not in the directions on how to attach it. It just all of a sudden appears already attached in a later step. We had to take apart some if what we put together in order to go back and attach it.Gdryhvswimdshn
