Great space heater/NOT NOISY
I am so tired of reading bad reviews of people storing them in the summer in a storage building, people tripping over them & all the abuse I have been reading & then they expect them to work,. Store them in YOUR HOUSE stop knocking them over. If you get one that makes noise or something take it back & get a good one. I have 4 & I am pleased with mine & I am very picky. They are light weight & put out good heat for one good size room. But, if you abuse them ,NO they will NOT last. Some of the bad reviews was made before they even went & got another one or had their mind set on something made 20 years ago. They are not going to last forever & they are NOT going to last at all from some of the reviews I have been reading on storage & knocking them over & calling them junk & NOT returning & getting another one! Go & pay $100 if you have the money for one,(see if they last longer or heat more) but for the price my 4 got me through the winter & I would say to ANY BODY these are great little heaters if you do not abuse them.

Not a good value for the money.
Unless you're seating right in front of this heater you will not feel the heat. It does not heat a room even if you run it for hours. I cannot recommend this product. If the box was not discarded I would return it.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/10/2016Sunbeam electric HeaterThis one is the third one I have bought in the past three years...one in my bedroom, one in my living room, and now one for my garage...my electric is only up $20 per month over my regular electric use...I use to use LP gas which ran me $140 to $225 a month over my normal use of electric...I now only use LP gas for my cooking stove...I highly recommend this heater if you are looking to cut your heating costs over the winter months and/or for dependable heatingBeaverBob

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/09/2016Good Little UnitI live in an older home with two feet of insulation in the attic, but I doubt much of anything in the walls. It gets pretty chilly in the winter especially, like, in the morning when I'm showering, and I'm too cheap to crank up the furnace! So, I got this little unit to replace an older one which had fallen over a few times and had started sounding like a chain saw. The Sunbeam rattles a little when it first gets going (just, like, 10 seconds), warms up quickly, and is nice and quiet thereafter. I don't think I've ever had the thermostat set higher than 6 (goes to 10) and it's heats my bath room nice and toasty like I'm at the spa. This way I don't have to crank up the hot water either, saving energy and my skin getting all dried out from scalding water just trying not to freeze. However, I don't know if I would recommend it if you were wanting to heat your whole living room -- maybe a bedroom, but you'd have to leave it on all the time.MattH

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/02/2016Electric HeaterVery happy with purchase. purchased for my daughter who lives in a trailer without heat. She says it is keeping kitchen, dining room and living room nice and toasty. She warms up her bedroom and turns the heater off at night. if she gets cold she turns it on and gets instant heat. We have owned other space heaters, but this is the best so far. She doesn't even have it turned all the way on high.Linda

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/05/2016Good buyI had an older version of this heater which stopped working a couple years ago. I've been looking for one ever since I finally found this one on your website. So far the only difference I've seen on this one is there's no reset button if it should get knocked over or too warm . We use it for taking the chill off our family room when I don't want to build a fire in the fireplace or turn the furnace on. I would definitely recommend this little heaterBarb

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/05/2014Don't use around kidsThis is not a good heater for use around kids. The front gets really hot the grab bar in the front gets really hot and it's meant to sit on the ground at kid level. So just don't use it around kids. However... this is a great heater for adults (aside from the hot front grab bar issue) there is a second grab handle in the back that does not get hot. Warms well, has a safety over heat feature, if it gets tipped over it shuts off. It will warm a small room fast, a larger room more slowly. But your going to get more power than with one of those smaller 10" box units that's for sure. I note that if you let this unit sit for a long time and collect dust, it's going to short out or whatever so you do have to clean it/blow it out when you first use it again after storage. Or barring that store it in a dust free area.JKT1832

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/01/2013Does a great job in heating a small room.I like that it is thermostat controlled. It heats well. It is a little noisy, so if you have it in a room with a tv you will have to increase the volume. That's why I gave it four stars. In a bedroom the noise level would not be bad unless you are a light sleeper.shunamite

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/29/2012Didn't work out of the box. This is the second heater purchased. Purchased first from Ace Hardware. This one although identical to the first did not work. Believe the thermostat was defective as initially it would try to heat on lower (750) setting and quit and would not heat at all on higher setting (1500W). Will try to exchange see what 2 out of three is like.Bagelhd
