SubZero cleats
I bough them too have them if we get ice this winter or later on. Had a wet snow earlier this winter drove over it, didn't have time to shovel it. It turned to ice it was a week before it melted. So I'm ready now.

In our ice storm last week, I broke these out for the first time and after walking less then a couple hundred of yards in them, I had lost 8 of the 12 cleats. Absolutely horrible product. Would not recommend to anyone.

    Lightweight
Might be nice for an occasional walk on ice. Far to lightweight for running on asphalt trails that have ice in spots. Would wear smooth very quickly.

    poor quality
very disappointed in this product. it did not fit the shoes that I wear in the snow because the rubber isn't flexible enough. I tried putting them on and they would pop off before I made it outside. I was told to leave them on the shoe overnight to stretch the rubber by a manufacturer rep. by morning the cleats had popped off on their own. I tried wearing them outside once and they didn't make it a walk around the block. after a single wear outside the metal already started to rust as well. don't waste your money

    Good idea butttttttttttttttttttt
I think these would be a good idea but the right one stuck to the foot feed on my car which I did not notice was gone until I got in the store. So, I figured I lost it. When I got back to the car, there is was on the floor board just below my foot feed. Also, they are very hard to get on but I am not spring chicken so maybe that is part of it. I wear a size 10 shoe and bought a Large. I think if I would have bought anything larger which I cannot remember if they had a larger one, it would have been too big. Anyway, is a very sturdy rubber.

Have not had ice to use them yet.
I had initially purchased these in the store for $7 more, when I saw them online for this price I ordered a size larger to accommodate my large boots, and returned the pair I bought in the store. They fit snuggly over my large boots and are difficult to get on/off, but apparently they must fit tightly to stay in place when worn. Hopefully, they will work on the really icy days.

Very sturdy rubber, be ready for a work out!
The cleats are well made and the rubber is very durable and strong. Eat your Wheaties when installing them the first few times! The only drawback is that they work the best on a shoe that has a sole that is not incorporated into the shoe/boot around the toe. Athletic shoes and my uniform boots have this type sole and the toe anchor has no place to grab onto with these types of shoes/boots. For dress shoes/cowboy boots and other boots with a lip between the sole and the shoe/boot they work great. Excellent value.

Needs a toe grip, such as the heel grip. There is not a good pull up for the toe and sometimes the cleat slips off. The heel pull up is fine.

    Overall traction
I bought these in 2012 and by far the best traction in snow and ice, especially this year so far. They prevent me from falling and I feel more safer and confident against the winter elements. Highly recommend for anyone especially the elderly.

    Good enough for casual walking
I have owned a pair of these cleats for two years, and they've worked just fine for me. "Ultimate traction" and "aggressive spikes" may be a bit of oversell, but the cleats have stayed in place and held together just fine. I like them because they are easy to get on and off, which is important to me. (That can also be a downside, in that they will occasionally get pulled off if I'm walking in snow.) Most of my walking is on icy roads and sidewalks where they do the job. They are inexpensive, and good enough for casual walking. Recommended.
