A Phone Card With Real Value
I've been a straight talk customer for a number of years now and have gone through a lot with the company but i'm still a Straight Talk customer. This added value to their $30 monthly plan is unbelievable!! I feel their service area is somewhat lacking but I rarely have an issue requiring service. I switch from AT&T to Straight Talk over ten years ago and have not looked back. I great service for the value.

A waste of $30. Got my fiancé a new phone. His first iPhone and he's been using straight talk since he first got a phone. So I bought this plan and it's not compatible with an iPhone. A load of crap. If its not gonna be compatible then at least put a warning

very dissatisfied with Straight Talks service..
I bought and paid the 30.00 topup for my flip just like straight talk told me to. But now Straight talk if telling me I have to add a card. I followed straight talks instructions like they said, Walmart and straight talk told me to get this direct top up and I did..NOW WHAT..I am expecting a call from my dr. in morning and don't have phone service.

    Do Your Homework!!
Straight Talk phone cards make a great gift. Just be sure you're purchasing the correct one when BUYING ONLINE. I bought two of these cards as a gift for my nephew who lives out of state. I felt purchasing online saved me time - no running to the store or the post office to mail out the cards, and I didn't have to worry about them getting lost in the mail. They were sent in the form of an email containing the Pin number. Like a good many reviewers for this $30 card, I discovered he couldn't use them with his Straight Talk phone. It's not Walmart's fault I didn't pay closer attention by reading EVERYTHING in the description, nor is it Straight Talks. So, I spent $60 plus fees on these two cards, then turned around and spent an additional $45+ so my nephew would be able to use his phone. No use making him suffer for my ignorance. But, SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE HERE WALMART, STRAIGHT TALK AND POTENTIAL PURCHASERS! There are over 100 reviewers here on Walmart.com who did the same thing I did. That's over $3,000 spent on something that can't be used. $3,000!! and that's only counting the customers who've left a review. Ok, to be fair, Straight Talk does offer 20 days service in place of the 30 paid for. One card only. I don't know about most of you folks out there, but I can't afford to throw away $30. If I had purchased the cards in-store and sent them snail mail, at least he could have returned them to Walmart and gotten the $45 card. I've learned a valuable (if not painful to my pocketbook) lesson. Make sure you buy the service plan that works with your phone.

Cannot DownGrade to this Plan !
Learned the hard way that the $45 plan I choose was more than I needed. Very rarely use the call side of the plan. Use 99% of the time for texts. SO I bought a $30 plan - found that I am NOT allowed to change the plan. ST added the $30 plan and I lost a week of service. To explain - $45.00 bought 30 days of full service. Tried to change the plan - they added the card and I got only 21 days of full service. I was told that I would have to purchase a totally new ST service and change the number in order to have a $30.. plan. Voice mail recordings are always static and are not always clear. Customer service is poor. I have called in a few times for help. When the rep is done with the task they have just hung up. This caused me to have to call back, hold through the queue and then ask for help again for the other questions I needed hello with. When you want to add a pre-paid card in reserve - you must call or chat in. I need a second phone for my crafting business - I defiantly will NOT be buying that service with Straight Talk.

    Striaght Talk Phone Services
When I started using Straight Talk for my phone service it was an excellent deal. But, today I would say it is average, mostly because many of the major providers offer the same service for the same price or in some cases less. The second thing I based this review on is service, can I make a call & can I receive my calls, and customer service. Making calls along the I-5 corridor is excellent but the further you move from the corridor the worse it gets, it is the same with receiving calls. Customer service is poor in my opinion, I had to by 2 sims because Straight Talk sent me the wrong one and even though the customer service agent said I would not have to pay for the correct sim and would receive a free month of service I ended up paying for the new sim card and never received any airtime to make up for what I lost while I was waiting for the correct sim to arrive. The reason I give 4 stars is because with the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) I was able to use my Dell Venue Pro windows based phone OS 7.8 and despite the poor start I have received relatively good service since.

    Trouble activating!
Walmart sent the card immediately by email as promised. When activated through Straight Talk, I assumed all was well. Phone was activated about 8pm. It wasn't used again until 10:30am the next day to set up voice mail. At 11:00am my hubby attempted to call me and the phone said he had 29 days left but he was out of minutes!!!!! Impossible, right??? Well, try explaining that to the people at Straight talk!! They kept telling me we used the minutes!!! Impossible I told them!!! Do the math!!! After being transferred to I don't know how many people and having problems getting the phone activated the night before, my patience was running thin. I virtually had to threaten to cancel both my service and my husbands new service to get them to listen to me. They agreed to give me the minutes back. After being on the phone nearly 2HOURS, she gave me a code, I asked her to wait until I checked the minutes, she said she had other customers! I said I waited for you now you should wait for me, in the meantime I checked the minutes and they gave me only 10!!! When I told her that, I had to wait even longer for her to give me another code. Again I asked her to wait and she said she couldn't. She HUNG UP ON ME!!!! I only got 1000 minutes and she cut the "unlimited text" to 500!!! I will never buy another "card" from any merchant. I'm on auto pay and I've never had a problem. Next time I need a phone though, I'm NOT going through Straight Talk.

    StraightTalk refuses to allow BYOP
Straight Talk supposedly has a bring-your-own-phone plan. I have an existing phone (from Tracfone, which is the EXACT SAME COMPANY as Straight Talk) that I wanted to activate with Straight Talk service. That's why I bought this item. I then tried to use the BYOP section of the StraightTalk website to activate the phone. No deal, wouldn't allow me to do so. It recognized the phone when I entered the phone's MEID/IMEI number, but refused to allow me to activate it on Straight Talk. The message I received was something like "Congratulations! You're already receiving great ..." whatever on Tracfone. Trust me, Tracfone is NOT a bargain when they make you pay per minute. Anyway, I contacted StraightTalk and went through their entire phone tree only to be told that, while they do have a BYOP program, any phones from Net 10 and Tracfone are specifically EXCLUDED from their program. No explanation why -- and there shouldn't be a valid reason why, since they are the SAME company. So, here I sit with this $30 piece of cardboard that I cannot use.

Does not work for Android phones.
We bought this to go with the Straight Talk LG L34C phone. After spending an hour on the phone with five different Straight Talk reps, we were given 20 days of use on the phone and told only to buy the $45.00 card in the future. Very frustrating experience all around.

    Very poor customer service
I had problems crediting this card to my account. Customer service must be outsourced to a foreign company. the rep did not seem to understand anything I said. I was unable to get any resolution. I have used the Straight Talk wireless service for about a year without any problems. And I did save money over that time. I never needed to contact Customer service. So if things go smoothly while activating this, and you don't need assistance this may be good for you. But if something goes wrong, expect a very frustrating experience on the phone and the possibility of simply having to write off the money paid for the card as a loss.

    Horrible customer service
Since beginning Straight Talk service I have had nothing, but poor customer service. I have been on hold for many hours trying to fix their errors. I feel they are poorly trained. I have also had difficulty contacting their email customer service dept.
