The easiest way to explore online.
I think using the prepaid data is one of the best and easiest ways to explore online.

    Very Slow,barely functional
I purchased the data to use with the U240C hotspot to get internet while staying in RV campgrounds without wifi. On the plus side it did provide connection to send and receive email and light web browsing. The basic setup process is easy, similar to setting up. The speed is mostly slow but varying between apps and websites for unknown reasons. For example, downloading email with MS Outlook on a laptop is agonizingly slow even for the briefest text. However, email through the browser interface is reasonably fast. Smart phones connected by wifi also had speed variations by app. I could not connect to some internet sites at all with Straight Talk, including my home security cam. The error message was "disconnected by software" I data remaining function is very difficult to access and you apparently use significant amounts of data just checking. I struggled for more than a week to get it working at all. I phoned straight Talk support and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes was given the balance verbally. The agent said there were many complaints that the usage monitor did not work. I discovered on my own that it will never work if you are using Chrome browser but would sometimes work in MS iExplorer. I GB of data lasted 5 days of light use. I would rate $15 for 1 GB a fair value had there not been the multiple issues

    Great in a pinch
We use this as backup internet, and it works very well. If you are a heavy internet user, it isn't cheaper, but it is great if you mainly browse and check email. I had forgotten to buy a card on a shopping trip, and I purchased this through the Wal-Mart app. It was very easy and I had the pin number within moments.

    Incessant phone calls to renew
I use this in my rv when the campground wifi is either poor or non existent so its not used for months at a time. As soon as the lapse date for the card nears phone calls start and while a phone number is give to unsubscribe calling the number does nothing. Buy this only if like to harassed.

    who knew
I love this.when I need WiFi I just turn it on and when I am finish i just turn it off. When the battery is ready to be recharged it turns red and starts blinking i just plug it in and keep using my wifi.I don't even buy data for my phone I just use this for everything. I don't have to worry about any of my data being used when I am not on the internet I just turn it off.

    As Advertised
This does what it says. 1GB of data on Verizon towers . Only problem I have with it is the price. it's costly. Total Wireless offers 3GB for $10 that not only rolls over but, is on the Verizon towers as well. If they had better customer service I would choose Total.

    Great for a novice
Great for someone like me who is not a big Wifi hog but needs it in places I can't usually pick up Wifi. The amount of broadband is just right for someone like me.
