Lovely for its purpose
I bought this solely for recreation purposes for my son. It hold 100 pounds of play sand. Perfect for my little balcony when he wants to play in sand and I don't want to go out to the backyard. Definitely recommend it, solid build. Great price for the size.

Arrived late and nroken
One of these came with a hole in it and a VERY busted lid, cracked and broken in 5 places. It took several weeks to get here and I needed them NOW. So there is no returning the set. I just get stuck eating the loss.

    Time to Correct the Shipping Damage Issue
    The Sterilite 41 Qt Storage Box Clear Base White Lid Set of 6 arrived promptly and is as advertised. Per other reviews citing lack of shipping protection, they arrived damaged. Two had shattered corners due to an apparent hard fall of the carton on its end (crumpled corrugations, see pics.) There is no cushioning in the box to absorb handling shocks from shipping single cartons; the packaging was apparently designed only for strapping cartons to a pallet. A little duct tape over the damage restored them to useful condition, but the patches will be a long-time reminder that apparently neither the manufacturer nor Walmart has been reading the "mail."

    Good and bad...
    Nice container, not as stout as expected but worth what i paid. However the shipper put it in a box that was too small and now the lid is warped and doesnt close properly. I mean come on its not rocket science.

    I want to exchange 1 lid that arrived broken. Too bad you have to send the entire set of order to get a replacement.

    Broken lids. Not sure how to exchange.
    The perfect storage boxes. BUT 2/6 lids are broken, and what's weird is, it's the lids on the bottom of the stack, that would be safest from any rough delivery. So whoever packed the order had to have knowingly put the broken lids in. But stacked the good ones on top. I'm not even sure how to go about exchanging them, as they don't seal completely now. The others are in perfect condition. And it was a quick delivery.

    These storage boxes are useful for storing things under the bed. They must improve the packaging for shipping, it does not have any type of protection, because of this they may arrive broken. I received one broken storage box and one broken lid. I contacted Walmart.com customer service and they sent me a replacement. On the second shipping package came a broken lid, which I had to exchange with the first shipping package before being returned to Walmart via Fedex. In general, the product does its job, but the packaging for shipping needs to be improved. The box says: Fragile Handle with Care, but this is obviously not enough... the storage boxes need to be protected.

    One was broke during shipping
    Prefect size to fit under the bed, order a 6 pack of them, the bottom storage box in the package arrived damaged, I can still use it to store under the bed , but am a bit disappointed

    Tops Damaged but Bottoms Work
    Unfortunately one of the lids came with multiple cracks and another came with a stain on it - yuk! Im using them for storing clothes under the bed that I need daily access to so Im currently not using the lids but once I do it will be frustrating that the tops are damaged. Im disappointed to pay full price for a damaged product - it doesnt feel right. Other than that they work great for what I bought them for.

    Great for flat storage.
    Light weight but very sturdy. Lids fasten securely. Great for storing seasonal branches and flowers. Tops and bottoms "nest" so you can stack them.
